The service and hospitality, the facilities, the warmth made tgis one of my favourite stays anywhere this year. The breakfast, dinner and lunch buffets much smaller than in Harare, but boy oh boy, prepared with such love and skill which comes through on every bite.
Thank you for restoring my faith in this hotel group!

I spent just over a week at the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed my time. There was an issue on night three of my stay, I raised it with the Manager on Duty and it was rectified immediately, including being upgraded to a different room. The staff are incredibly friendly and always willing to go above and beyond to help. The vibe and atmosphere is somewhat quieter than the Harare Holiday Inn, however I think this is definitely a positive.

I would recommend requesting a garden/pool facing room, away from the end of the floor, the view is stunning.

Very safe and secure which is one of the reasons why I booked the hotel.

Would happily stay here again and recommend for a tourist or business visit. In my opinion, Holiday Inn Bulawayo is in the top 5 hotels in the country.

Staff very friendly and all want to help but getting anything done very difficult.

However wifi did not work, safe needed replaced and charged $35 US for breakfast. Breakfast good but same price as top 5 star London hotel!!!!

Rooms very tired and need substantial upgrading to be at an acceptable level

We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Bulawayo for 2 nights.

As soon as I entered the hall, I asked to check in for my twin room. The receptionist Loretta could not find my booking. After 10 minutes of waiting, I asked her if she wanted my confirmation number for the hotel. I mistakenly gave the itinerary confirmation number instead of the hotel confirmation, she rudely answered back saying "This is not the one that I am looking for". I then verbally told her what I had booked, and I quote what she said: I thought you had two separate rooms, that is why I could not find them. She gave me the card keys for my room and did not apologise for how prompt and slightly rude, she was. The room was nice and clean.

We decided to go for dinner at Phumulani Restaurant, the food was good and the staff was very nice and operative. The bill was USD 76.00 for 2 buffet dinners and 2 cokes which is shocking considering that you are eating at Holiday Inn after all.

Bulawayo is not a very expensive city for tourists, so I found this bill very excessive considering. The next day, we went to a nice dinner for 2 people and we considerably paid much less than that and the food was incredible.

Also, The hotel promotes a comfortable and nice night's sleep. One of the days, I was woken up by one of the workers who cleaned the leaves in the car park with a leaf blower and this was so early in the morning. It was around 7.07 am.

Overall, my experience was not that great!

Our experience was perfect. This is a comfort level hotel, about 2 km from the central town so can be walked or quick taxi. Get the breakfast included package as there is really nothing as far as restaurants around this area. The walk from hotel to town is via suburbs so no shops. Hotel staff was amazing and friendly, never had an issue. Lovely pool and very clean hotel.
Definitely recommended.

I thought that my stay was quite enjoyable. The staff served us with smiles, and they did their best to make sure that we were comfortable. The only issue I had was that the room key cards deactivated pretty much every day at 10am, which meant that we had to go back to the reception when we came back to the hotel. They catered for our 1-year-old baby, which was very appreciated.

At the Holliday Inn, they gave me their worst room, even though I paid the maximum price. It was room number 153 located above the engine rooms of the hotel and the washing machines and the central shield that work almost all night. I could not sleep. Never agree to have room 153 or 253 or 353 and so on in this hotel even if they offer it to you for free. I asked for compensation for the inconvenience but agreed to give me only a few fruits ...
Also the phone number of this hotel is confidential or no one answers his number

I enjoy being at Holiday Inn, Bulawayo. I liked the fact that they tried to mix things up and they were working on renovations.
They didn't seem flustered by having a number of people coming through for breakfast every day.
I didn't like that their TVs don't work with USB drives / chrome cast.

We were impressed by the hygiene standards in place at Holiday inn and in particular at the food service. A lot of thought has gone into minimising spread of Covid and this is truly commendable. Even the staff were friendly and helpful and observed all protocols while assisting us. The room was fairly comfortable

Holiday Inn is such a great place for a wedding. It has a spacious garden which can accommodate a considerable number of people. On top of that, there is some space to hold such an event though I cannot give specific dimensions. To cap it all, all of this would be at your dispensation for a price that is hinged upon your preferences and the event's needs. Wishing you a highly memorable event not just you but the guests as well as all those involved.
