When we arrived without prior booking on a Sunday afternoon at their gate nobody answered the bell. So we tried the mobile phone number indicated at the gate and asked for a room. There are 4 beautifully designed lodges in a peaceful and lovely garden with idyllic dip pool. Gail is a super friendly host who helped us with all out travel plans and was a joy to meet - so quiet and safe - self catering so feels like home from home

My favourite place for peace and solitude. Sunsets, nature walks, bird watching, swimming and bbq's. Comfortable, clean accommodation. A perfect place to meet with family and friends. Great place for a reunion weekend. Take over the whole lodge :)

We discovered this hidden gem on our family tour of Zimbabwe. We wanted to explore the Matopos National Park and found this lodge online. It is on the edge of Bulawayo and I wasn't sure what to expect, but what transpired was a charming and well appointed property with 4 lodges set in beautiful African Gardens. The thatched lodges are...

We stayed at Granite Park Lodges from March 31 to April 7, 2015 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The lodges and the grounds are very beautiful. The location is a bit out of the way, so having your own vehicle would be best, but we managed without one. A Taxi ride from the lodges to downtown was $10.00 US. We...

We stumbled across Granite Park when our eldest son started boarding school near Bulawayo five years ago and we needed accommodation for the "floating" weekends we could spend when visiting. Granite Park has a beautiful tranquility about it, Clive and Gail Moore (the owners) leave their personal touch in every way and the natural surroundings and clever design of each...
