Granite Park Lodges is a little resort paradise consisting of four, thatched, self contained holiday lodges in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. Located just 10 minutes from the central business district, this Bulawayo accommodation provides easy access to all the City’s main attractions. Set in lush, tranquil surroundings of unspoilt, indigenous vegetation and majestic granite kopjies (hills), Granite Park Lodges is only 30 minutes from the Matobo National Park. There is a picturesque waterfall cascading into a natural swimming pool for your pleasure. It is here that the Dassies may show themselves whilst basking on one of the granite outcrops. All our lodges have a separate double bedroom, bathroom, teak fitted kitchen including fridge and stove, and are fully equipped. Our family lodges have an additional loft floor with two twin beds and are capable of accommodating up to six people with ease.

Granite Park Lodges is a rare find.. imagine living in luxury only 10 minutes from town, surrounded by unspoilt african bush, waking up to the calls of birds, watching the amber sun set as you sit by an open woodfire.. an absolutely wonderful stay in meticulously designed and superbly maintained lodges, with the most peaceful ambience.. run by warm, friendly staff under the personal guidance of the caring owner..

We stayed at Granite Park Lodges from March 31 to April 7, 2015 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The lodges and the grounds are very beautiful. The location is a bit out of the way, so having your own vehicle would be best, but we managed without one. A Taxi ride from the lodges to downtown was $10.00 US. We were picked up by Black Rhino Safaris to do a tour of Matabos National Park from the lodges, as well. BEDS: The master bedroom had a very firm bed for our first night's stay and with a problematic back, that was not at all good for me. Gail and Lemic went out of their way to have me test out the mattresses in the other lodges (they were all empty on our 2nd day there) and choose the softest/best one for my back. Felt just like Goldilocks : ) With great care, the bed and

We stumbled across Granite Park when our eldest son started boarding school near Bulawayo five years ago and we needed accommodation for the "floating" weekends we could spend when visiting. Granite Park has a beautiful tranquility about it, Clive and Gail Moore (the owners) leave their personal touch in every way and the natural surroundings and clever design of each of the lodges really add to the experience. The children have loved the pool set into its natural granite setting and the space around us give a wonderful sense of being out in the bush. I would rate it best value for money and best quality in Bulawayo, we have stayed at other lodges but nothing ticks the box like this.

This was quite simply the best B&B / Guest house I have ever visited, no if's, no buts. The setting is wonderful, the furnishings way beyond what is required, the staff and owners wonderful, and the finished product ...... truly amazing. This time we happened to be passing through Bulawayo so stayed there, next time in Zim we will work our trip around a few nights here. If it weren't for Zim's troubles there would be a very long waiting list to stay at a place like this, with a price tag to match.

This is a great place to rest and relax. We spent two nights here in June 2014 and wish we had booked more. The rondawels are a pleasure to be in, they are well equipped, comfortable and peaceful. It being winter the pool was green, but we didn't want to swim anyway. The views from the rocky outcrops are spectacular and the grounds are well maintained. If you love Bulawayo and you come here often you have to try this place. The road from the Plumtree Road is a bit Zimbabwe and needs maintenance, but Granite Park is a breathe of fresh air.

We did not plan on staying 3 nights but it’s so hard to leave Granite Park! As soon as we arrived we were blown away by the peace and tranquil splendor of this lovely Park! And then we discovered our lodge, so spacious, so comfortable, so beautifully furnished and decorated in an elegant African style. Everything you need is there and even more! We loved the atmosphere ... a little walk in the garden revealed a magnificent view of Bulawayo... and the swimming pool area complete with waterfall cascading over the rocks so nicely integrated in the well manicured gardens. What we also really appreciated is that each lodge offers privacy and very soon our lodge began to feel like our home away from home. It was nice to have our own BBQ place where we enjoyed more than one good

When we receive comments like those you have given it is difficult to respond. Thank you so much for the kind words. Hopefully we will have the pleasure of your company in the future. By then the boma we are building should be complete, you will then be able to entertain your guests in even more comfort. Regards Clive Moore GRANITE PARK LODGES

we had the privilege of staying at Granite Park Lodges over Christmas 2013 and what a wonderful time it was......the lodges are extremely comfortable and well cared for, everything you need or could ask for in comfort and convenience. Hosts Gail and Clive, and their staff, made our stay and we could not have felt more welcome or at home or had better care and attention to everything, from comfy beds and accommodation to our laundry being taken care of. It was a time for relaxing and enjoying one of the best places we stayed at during our 2 month tour of Southern Africa and it was an experience we will never forget.......we would fully recommend it to everyone.

After 2.5 months travelling throughout Southern Africa staying mainly in B&Bs, Granite Park Lodges are without doubt the "Jewel in the Crown" - an excellent place to stay, highly recommended. We (party of 8) spent 6 days over the Christmas 2013 period at Granite Park Lodges and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Set in a natural secluded bushland garden complete with sheep, tortoises and bird life, the lodges, each with own patio and private BBQ area, are beautifully appointed, comfortably furnished, well equipped with all mod cons (all in good working order!) and offer satellite TV, ceiling fans, mosquito nets, room safes and house alarms. The vista from the pool area as well as from the Boma is beautiful, both great places to relax at the end of the day and watch

We were in Bulawayo for Christmas in 2013. Had booked the lodges with our extended family, and we weren't disappointed! What a piece of paradise it was! Kids loved swimming in the gorgeous pool, exploring the land, finding the resident sheep and seeking out tortoises and giant African snails! The lodges are all excellently appointed, with EVERYTHING you could want - satellite TV, room safes, house alarm, ample parking, shaded patio, private BBQ, ceiling fans, supreme kitchens - fully equipped etc. Absolutely everything worked too - a distinction for Zimbabwe! Super clean, manicured gardens, excellent staff too. Thank you to Clive and Gail for making our Bulawayo experience so great!

We (party of 11 adults) stayed at Granite Park Lodges for one night, on our way home after a two week tour of Zimbabwe. The lodges are beautifully equipped, location is very convenient and the surroundings and nature very beautiful. We booked through a travel agent, who failed to notify the lodge. Regardless, the friendly proprietors welcomed us and made sure that we were comfortable and had sufficient space for everyone. In a country where we had really bad accommodation experiences, this property stands out as an example of what is still possible in Zimbabwe!
