We went here because of the listing in Lonely Planet. Maybe it was because of the low season, but there weren't many people around and it wasn't as social as the listing sounded. The place is decent enough and our room had a nice view of the Red Sea, but the staff didn't seem that interested in helping us out...

We had a wonderful 3-night stay here in the last week of December, thanks to the small but clean villa-type rooms, the good food and the friendly staff. Especially fun was the evenings in the tents near the pool area, with a rustic fireplace, endless cups of herb tea and hookahs, chatting with the owner and his friends. The beach...

When we first walked in, we were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the place was. Nice pool, relaxing area to read a book or surf the web, clean rooms. The owner is a great guy. We stayed for three nights and when we returned to Aqaba a week later, we decided to pay the extra 10 JD to stay in...

We spent some nights here during our trip through Jordan in September. We liked this place and were astonished about the quite cheap price for the bungalow incl. breakfast. The bungalow was small and the bathroom too, but we spend our time with diving and snorkeling, so it was no problem. The beach is just opposite of the street -...

We got a great deal. Even though our reservation was misplaced -we got a room during a holiday weekend. Breakfast was nice. Our room was fine. My bed was slanted and barely had padding towards the bottom. 2 nights was enough. But, as we basically lived in the water, we only came back to crash at night. Loved the view...

This was probably one of the dirtiest places I have stayed at during my 20 years of travel. The light switches in my room were filthy (dark black), the sheets looked like they had not been changed in days (after been used by others), the toilet leaked water on the floor (and in the shower area), the door was broken,...

The hotel is very good, it has a pool and you can have breakfast outside or have some drinks by the pool. It is very close to the beach and you can rent snorkeling equipment for 1or 2 JD. It is located on the south beach and it takes about 10mn to get to the center by taxi (4JD). Bedrooms...

BGV is a good budget option. Rooms have air-conditioning, are clean, stuff is nice, restaurant may be better but is fine, there is a swimming pool. Great advantage is a proximity (100 metres) of a public beach, which was almost empty during our stay (2nd half of September 2011), and a lot of nice snorkelling sites. You can get there...

We have spent 3 nights in this hotel. A small but deep swimming pool, a lots of space to sit, drink tea, smoke schicha and so on. The room was ok, and had AC.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Bedouin Garden is a cozy place and lovely relaxing oasis right on the Red Sea----perfect for swimming and snorkeling and also a good location for diving and making a trip to Petra and Wadi Rum. Our rooms are comfortable, the staff is friendly and helpful, the outdoor "tent" lounge area with rugs and pillows and a fragrant wood fire is a lovely place to relax in the evenings and use your laptop with WiFi free of charge. ..literally a 100m walk to the edge of the sea - with the Japanese Gardens coral reef just there- amazing snorkeling. Also rooms air conditioned with the best bathroom. The views of the bay and the mountains are beautiful. There are lots of places to sit and relax, including by the pool. and have a great BBQ restaurant with fresh food. ... more   less
