I stayed here for 1 night back in October while on route to Petra. the hotel is fairly dated in its decor. The check in staff were very nice and helpful. we had to go to another hotel to have our buffet dinner, food only ok. The room was very dated, broken shower and toilet. If its a bed for...

too old room , I didn't feel good there , the breakfast was poor, and the pool is not a great scene. the only thing I liked is the staff , they were helpful and nice . the location is good too as it's in the down town.

Although the rooms are fairly decent, I'd suggest that this hotel is avoided (unless you're diving as it is near a number of dive operators, however it's a sizeable distance from the beach) this is perhaps the most shambolic hotel in terms of service I've ever stayed in, and my two mates who stayed in a separate room also agreed...

This is a fairly nice hotel. However this has one big caveat; get a room at the front of the hotel, the back has a niteclub close by, and my goodness is it loud!! You'll figure out pretty quickly if you're on the wrong side. So if you're on the right side of the hotel, the rooms are pretty nice,...

Continuing our tip from Israel to Jordan with Aqaba we were expecting a nice confortable hotel with a bit of oriental flavor. It was with oriental flavor but in the wrong way - dirty and bad quality. A/c not working (basically only ventilating) and it was cold especially due to ceramic tile floor. Toilet not be described - you need...

The stay in the Gulden Tulip Aqaba was a great one. I was traveling with my wife and two daughters, 5 years and 5 months. We stayed there for two nights. We got a small room through our reservation, but when we called asking for a crib for my 5-months the receptionist "apologized" for not giving us a bigger room...

We stayed 2 nights here. The room was comfortable and clean, with plenty of hot water, good shower and a good flush to the toilet ! Tv and fridge, and air con that worked. The hotel is away from the beach area and you will need to catch a bus to either the public beaches or the "Royal Diving Club"...

We were booked into the Golden Tulip by Aqaba Dive, so we didn't really know what we were in for. The Lonely Planet mentioned that it had tiny bathrooms. Maybe they have done some renovations since then, but we found the bathroom in our twin room to be a good size and perfectly adequate; well-stocked and everything worked well. Staff...

Positives - Free wifi, near food and shops, food ok Negatives - Thin walls and others may disrupt your sleep, not near beach, noisy AC I guess it is just ok for me and my family. We paid to enter other 5 stars hotel to enjoy their pool and beach which is fun. Everything about this hotel is just average.
