Our family stayed at the Coral Bay for four nights. The place was recommended to us by friends but we did not find it attractive at all. The rooms were generally dirty, nothing seemed to work, we had to ask for clean towels every day, the door to the outside veranda couldn't lock... The pools are sort of boring for... More

We are very pleased that you enjoyed the underwater world during your stay here and we agree that the things that you have mentioned are unacceptable. We are now proud to say that these are a thing of the past and In the last few months we have a new resort manager, F&B, executive chief, front office manager and dive... More

My boyfriend and I went there for 3 nights, the place was really amazing, but when we first got into our room, we found an old used condom beside the bed !!! That was really awful !

Overall I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. Altough it is slightly overpriced, it is a convenient place to stay for some relaxation, diving, snorkelling. After a couple of days however, my whole body was covered with itchy spots: BEDBUGS! Luckily the hotel manager told me that these bugs are not that BAD...

Just read the reviews of Coral Bay, and feel that i have to defend the place ! We stayed as part of an Exodus tour can't really comment on value for money, but have to say that overall it seemed like an ok hotel - not the greatest ever, but certainly not the worst either. Rooms were a decent size... More

A friend and I recently stayed at the Coral Bay Hotel and i refuse to recommend this place to anyone. We arrived and service at the desk was terrible, we were ignored for about 20 minutes. When we finally got our room, it was very dirty. A empty bottle was in one corner, and a dirty towel on the other... More

Stayed in this hotel for one week in may. The rooms are small but oke. A bit dated but that happens more in jordan. Breakfast was oke but to little choice. The beach and the under waterworld are very nice. The beachbar is crap. No service. The check you have to check 3 times to see if it is correct.... More

Came to Coral Bay after Wadi Rum so anything would have to be good to match that! Rooms tatty but acceptable, bathroom dirty, lights not working, soap dispenser empty. Our neighbour got stuck in her bathroom when the lock jammed and had to cut her way out with a Swiss Army knife - she's a game girl! Pool bar a... More

Having read the most recent reviews (of April and early May 2007) I expected the worst when I arrived in Aqaba. I had booked 4 nights in Coral Bay with a PADI Open Water Course through a local travel agent in Amman before I read those reviews. I must say that I was not disappointed at all. The room I... More

Last week we stayed at the Coral Bay hotel in Aqaba. We were very disappointed by the hotel. Apparently the hotel was very nice when it opened 2 years ago but since then it looks like neither repairs had been made nor maintenance been done. We paid 85 JD for 2 persons, Half Board. - The room was of medium... More

My boyfriend and I booked a holiday to Jordan choosing to travel around the most popular sites ( Petra, Wadi Rum and Dead sea) and finish the trip with some diving. The tour company suggested Coral Bay as it was part of The Royal Diving club, so we went ahead and booked 4 nights. After spending the previous nights in... More
