good location from the subway exit ( but I has poor sense of direction, and . There were many big department store and the stores of tax free, convenient stores. The room is quiet, the decoration is traditional not so fashion, but the equipment ( hair dryer, brush, water boiler, free wifi... etc) is prepared and enough. The tub in...

Very convenient! It is located in the center of Sakae area. From the Sakae subway station, which is the hub to many attractions, it only takes 3 minutes of walking. We took the subway to visit Nagoya Castle, which was only two stops away. There are lots of shopping malls and all kinds of restaurants around the hotel. Although our room...

Great Location in the heart of the city. and friendly staff hovewer the Basic rooms are extremely small- there's nowhere to place a luggage. Better to upgrade to the next room, you'll only pay a few thousand yen more but the difference in space is worth it. Breakfast is not very good but the cafe downstairs is open all the...

The positives: Prime Location on a busy street, room size was biggest out of all the Japanese hotels we've stayed in The negatives: Dated room which is in desperate need of renovation. Stained carpet, sofa, curtains, the list goes on. Also the hygiene was not up to standard, we found strands of hair on bathroom floor and bedhead when we...

I stayed here for two nights on a business trip. The room was very clean but it was like a holiday trip I went on as a child as it reminded me of dark bed and breakfast joints by the British coast. It has patterned carpets and dark wood furniture. It was an experience but I woudn't have liked to...

We stayed for 4-nights and just returned home. Like many Japanese hotel it is perhaps time for some refurbishment and upgrading… While facilities appear old the housekeeping is prompt and we have no complaints. The room size is comparative larger than we expected, comfortable with our 29in luggage opened up. Free wifi is seamless, even in bathroom. However the pillow...

receptionists were friendly, but the rooms we had (we were in a group of 6) gave the impression that they had been used as smoking rooms for decades and to transform them to non smoking rooms they received a beige(!) new wallpaper 5 years ago. Still the brown tar/nicotin stains can be seen on the fire detectors (see picture). Still...

Hotel was clean, rates attractive, rooms adequate and staff helpful. We stayed here for the F1 Grand Prix and, while its a 10 minute walk from the main train station, the location is good for food and drink and the subway is close by if you don't want to walk. The hotel is good value for what we paid.

This hotel is just a few minutes away from Sakae station. No issue with the staff, but it will be an advantage if your Japanese are at average level. The extra bed is not that comfy, so better to have another room that is really meant for a group.

The hotel is showing its age and needs a refurbishment. For two of us sharing we didn't find it expensive on a room only basis. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean. There is always someone that can speak english at reception. They were happy to store our luggage after checking out and some vouchers I...
