After traveling around Japan for two weeks, we finally encountered a set of drawers in this hotel. There was a full size closet with a top shelf. The bathroom has plenty of towel racks. This is the closest to a Motel 6 we have seen. It felt like home. But the bathroom was so small. The toilet was set at... More

The outstanding thing about this hotel for us was that it had the softest pillows we had the whole time we were in Japan. Most places had really hard pillows with little lumpy bits in them, which seems to be the normal thing there. It was clean and pleasant, and the breakfasts were very nice with a good variety of... We had an awful experience in this hotel. Let me start by saying that this is NOT a new hotel. It is old, dated and not very well maintained. The toilets are so tiny and the rooms are shabby and old. The A/C is turned of during certain times of the year, REGARDLESS of whether the rooms themselves are warm... More

Lovely rooms that lacked view because of alley location. The hotel has two buildings and both are quite nice. 12th floor dining room in main building has a great view. The location, just off the main shopping street was convenient.

This hotel had very nice amenities, very nice staff, very clean and quiet, and so convenient to everything we wanted to see. By far the largest room we had during our small group tour. We stayed in the "annex"; very nice buffet breakfast which was even better when available on the 12th floor in the main building. Just a block... More

Well situated with large rooms, a bit worn but not yet shoddy. In our party some of the group were not happy with their room and had to change twice. Not the most sparkling bathroom and extremely small despite large size of main room. Good breakfast but stunning view from dining room over adjacent shrine

Our group stayed in the annex. Some complained about the cleanliness of the room but I didn't consider them bad. I appreciated the variety of restaurants, as not al Japanese hotels have them. I did miss the lack of a bar. It didn't open until later, on the top floor where the fancy dining was, & had no patrons when... More

As a stop off on our trip, this suited us fine. Near the main sites, shopping and food area so very convenient. Staff helped us (our Japanese is terrible) and helped immediately when some of the other guests were noisy. They also parked our car for us which was very much appreciated. Wifi was pretty non existent in the rooms.... More

We stayed at this hotel because we were on a group guided tour across Japan. We reached late at night so cannot comment on what's around. The hotel appears "oldish" in character but tastefully done. We had a triple room which was big by any Tokyo standards. The bathrooms and room was clean and no odours. The surrounding is quiet... More
