Great location near the train and bus station. Despite asking for a non smoking room, the room and hallways reek of cigarette smoke. For a non smoker this smell is very evident and does not make for a pleasant stay.

OK if small room typical of Japanese business hotel. Nothing out of the ordinary.
Not too far from main attractions and recommend the famous Kenrokuen gardens.
The hotel is in a great location if you are travelling by train - basically across the road from the station. The station is serviced well with local buses and taxis.
