Small traditional ryokan in the heart of Kurashiki. Excellent location, just steps from many shops. While the facility did not have a lounge, the guest room was very spacious with chairs overlooking a quiet courtyard. Dinner and breakfast were tasty and very filling. Enjoyed the use of private bath which you can reserve in advance.

It got an location that cannot be beat with excellent coursed dinner. The room was reasonably priced consider the dinner provided and excellent service in a traditional Ryokan. I highly recommend this place for anybody.

Great experience - but Ryokkans are expensive. Meal was great, service was very attentive. A little tip: go to the local family mart and buy a bottle of something if you want to have a drink. Prices for beverages are expensive. Everything else is included!

The central location is terrific and Of Course, it was spotless and employees polite. It is well maintained. So why just 3 stars? Unlike other ryokans I've visited, it feels corporate & formal rather than warm and welcoming. There was no place to sit outside & the garden is very small. Breakfast was very tasty. Ordinary beer was more expensive...
