Average condition with not surprisingly smallish rooms. Somewhat dated rooms. Breakfast buffet selection very limited if looking for western items. Across the street from the main town attraction walking streets, hotel is conveniently located. Family Mart right across the street as well for convenient store shopping.

This is a convenient hotel, with helpful staff and good beds and showers. No fitness center and relatively few frills. It is located a 3 - minute walk from the wonderful historic district which makes it a great choice.

The Kurashiki Kokusai Hotel is at the entrance to the canal historic area and adjoins Ohara Museum of Art and it's lovely garden. Our room 704 overlooked that garden. The room was smallish but adequate and well arranged. The bed not ad hard as we had experienced elsewhere. The staff were very helpful.

stayed for one night on our way back from Hiroshima to Osaka. Very decent hotel. It is an old property but maintained well. Good service. Reception staff speak English so that one can manage. The Restaurant is clean, and food tasty.good choice of cut fruits and salads. Rooms are average in size as per Japanese standards. Check-in was smooth.Of course,... More

My family stayed in a triple room of this hotel for a night in late March. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The one at front desk commanded good English. The hotel structure looked great, though, obviously the building and the rooms were rather dated. The room was typically clean in Japanese standard. Its size was just adequate to us... More

Hotel is perfectly situated by the bikan area. Extremely smooth check in and check out service. Receptionist speaks very reasonable English. We stayed in a triple room. Size of room is generous by Japanese standard.

After staying at several tatami hotels, I really appreciated sitting in a chair at the table to make up with full length mirror in the room. Sheets are clean and comfortable. Clean bathroom. Our tour guide told everyone rooms here are typically smaller than other hotels, but we have a nice corner room with three windows. No complaint. Ok breakfast... More

Centrally located in Kurashiki the hotel is close to a few museums & the main town. Very friendly & super efficient staff. This is a good quality hotel & the food is exceptional. I was here for a group lunch & the conference & banqueting facilities are very good.

This is one of the nicest hotels we stayed at during our time in Japan. Traveling by train during the Cherry Blossom season in early April, we lucked upon the Kurashiki Kokusai Hotel by chance, since not much was available according to the visitor's center information. The hotel is a short 5 block walk from the train station, but right... More

The hotel is centrally located. Only few minutes walk to the main train station. The rooms are nice with large comfortable beds but without wifi. You have to go to the lobby to get a wifi signal. There is a FamillyMart store just across the street. It is open 24h.
