This hotel is big and considered in town and is by the sea. We chose to stay in the room in the annex building as learning from Tripadvisor review. The room was specious with good sea view and of course, we had a good time of the private hot spring bath in room. The service was really great as the... More

This hotel is not worth the money, too expensive. The entire hotel and our room stinks of cigarette smoke, the walls were dirty, there is no wifi in room and the bath is far too small for 2 people. I wouldn't stay here again. Staff were friendly.

The hotel is a little far from the center of town, and only accessible by bus and taxi. What it lacks in location, however, it more than makes up for with its 2 in-house onsens (hot spring) and a huge tatami room. You can view the sunrise from one of them and the other has an outdoor onsen. Both men... More

It is a rare opportunity to get such a nice onsen hotel in the near vicinity of a city. Heiseikan has three hotels in hakodate. This is the one with good sea view. You can also choose Bekkan Hanatsuki, which is like the exectuve or premium part nestled at the side of Shiosaitei. But the price of the Bekkan has... More

The hotel locates in the sea coast in Hakodate. The hotel is with free parking and the staff is helpful during check-in. My wife and I booked a sea view room and the view is very beautiful. We had both dinner and breakfast buffet in our package, the food is average. The Onsen is nice and clean with male and... More

Booked the room with private bath. It was really a great experience. You can take a bath with an ocean view and it was snowing. Do take note that water is very hot so add some cold water from the tap. Room was huge and service was great. Our package did not come with dinner. We wanted to venture out... More

As advised by Tourist Information desk located within Hakodate JR station, we took bus #6 from platform 3 right in front of the station for 260¥ each together with our luggage and got off at the Yunokawa Prince Hotel stop. Crossed the road and Heiseikan Shiosaitei is 200 meters to the left. There were no English names for the few... More

We stayed two nights there in Japanese style room with balcony and an opened air bath tub where you could enjoy sea breeze. The room is clean and quite well renovated. We are happy with this typical Japanese style resort. The public hot spring (women side ) is good. We only had a bit disapoointed from the morning breakfast and... More

Beautiful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Buffet dinner and breakfast with very good spread of food. Enjoyed eating all very much. Stayed there for two nights with free parking for our cars. The problem that I had was the room smell of cigarette smell each time when the guest staying next to my room smokes. And the corridors... I had a private open air onsen for my hubby and me as that's the only way we can enjoy the onsen together. Totally worth the money as hubby soak in onsen as and when he likes. The view is soooo beautiful that I thought I am in paradise. The breakfast and dinner buffet is so good that think we... More
