We stayed the Premier Grand Suite room. The room and survives were super good. We could spend the really great time at the hotel. Location was also very convenient to get any places. We highly recommend this hotel if you want to make a great time in Hakodate!

Booked a regular room, and it turned out to be huge, even for North American standards. A small kitchen, two-room bath, balcony, king-sized bed, long sofa, L-shaped desks, and still plenty of room to spare. The location is quite convenient, near the tram line, the airport shuttle bus, and within walking distance to several attractions. However, it takes a bit... More

We found Hakodate, and this hotel, rather curious. Clearly a city that has been in decline for some time (at least the older central section), yet with some interesting things to experience. In this sense the Villa Concordia fits in perfectly, as it is an elegant hotel a bit adrift in time and place. It is well located for transport... More

We arrived late last night and were welcomed by the night supervisor who was so friendly and helpful. The lobby is beautiful and matches the quality and style of the rooms. We have asked for help on various hi ha throughout our stay and the staff have been so helpful. We have booked another four nights here.

This hotel simply wowed me. Clean, modern and luxurious. Located near the rope way for access to mt hakodate. Room is huge and tastefully decorated. There's even a tube amp and a CD player (one jazz CD is provided for free)! Coffee provided isn't run of the mill instant sachet capsule type but one which you have to mill your... More

On a recent trip to Hakodate my son, age 10, and I stayed at this hotel. Words cannot describe the amazing time we spent here, from the moment we arrived right up to the time we reluctantly left. The warm friendly greeting we got on arrival made us feel at home right away, check in was quick and easy. The... More

What a surprise to find a "resort & spa" with its own apartment-sized kitchen. The room and bath were very large and light. No view but nice to have a balcony to sit on. The downside: small signs that the property is not well-cared for. Our carpeting had pulled apart at the seams and had been that way for a... More

The hotel is just beside the tram station, and has easy access to a supermarket. The room is spacious with functional kitchen, and the staff is polite and helpful. The restaurant at top floor looks low-profiled yet provides delicious, in-expensive and authentic French cuisine. Everything was quite comforting in this hotel and it made us a unforgettable vacation.

This small hotel is a fantastic place to stay whenever you are in Hakodate. I've previously stayed at La Vista; Chisun Grand and Dormy Inn Express, but this is the place to be if you can get a good deal on the price ( paid around £90 per night and would consider that to be very good value). The lovely... More

This was a very pleasant surprise! Very helpful and welcoming staff. Large well-equipped room, almost like a flat. We needed to leave early and they served a very personal breakfast before the breakfast restaurant opened. I wish we had stayed longer!
