First, let me congratulate the staff at this hotel - although APA is known for "automated" check in, the staff is so helpful and nice. The bad: rooms are terrible - from broken/ripped curtains to just overall dated and stained. The positive - there is...More
LOVED my stay here & was happy to have enough time to properly enjoy the hotel facilities. I had a lovely, cozy room in the newer East Wing with a view of the pool & further out, into the bay.

We enjoyed our stay in Chiba and this hotel was the perfect location. Nice views over the city and Tokyo Bay, 20 mins away from Tokyo Disney. 45 mins away from the beach at Ichinomiya, along the east coast of Chiba Prefecture. 10 mins walk...More
Onsen, good breakfast and the fact that there's 2 Lawsons within the hotel is this hotel's saving grace. Aside from these you are better off somewhere else. Service is awful-- they did not inform me of additional charges when my stay plus breakfast (I booked...More
I have travelled Chiba and stayed several nights in deluxe room at the Apa Hotel And Resort Tokyo Bay Makuhari last month. The hotel is large with three hot springs. I enjoyed the hot springs very much after sightseeing and shopping. The design of some...More

Yes, the kensei shuttle departs almost every hour to the hotel from the airport and costs about 900 yen. It takes about 40 minutes and the most convenient one to reach the hotel. Tickets are available at the arrival halls of the three Terminals at Narita. One can board the bus right at the main entrance of the hotel for the return journey. Tickets can be purchased in the bus.I hope this helps

You have to take Shinkansen to Tokyo Station (I assume you know you have to take local train from Osaka to Shin Osaka to transfer to Shinkansen, you can take JR, if you are using the rail pass, it is free, or take the subway). Then transfer to Keiyo Line to the direction of Soga and get off at Kaihin-Makuhari Station. This is also JR line so it would be covered under the pass. You could buy your ticket from Osaka to Kaihin-Makuhari, which will be less bothersome to have to buy another ticket at Tokyo Station. The hotel is about 15 min walk from the station. If you have internet access, use google map app, it will give you the exact timetable including platform number. You can zone in to see which is the most efficient exit to take.
