Nothing particularly fancy, but equally nothing terrible about this place. Friendly staff who spoke English, a good selection for breakfast with enough for my 3-year-old son to eat, a punctual shuttle bus to and from the airport. All in all a good stay - and was a great price too!

I've used the Narita Gateway for many years for my one-night stopovers. It is usually the least expensive in the area. The free airport shuttle runs every half-hour from the arrivals levels - post 16 in T1, and post 26 in T2. Another shuttle is available from the hotel for trips to the city and shopping centre. Good alternatives to...

Hotel was away from train station and commercial area but area was very calm and charming Japanese country side. Hotel provided free shuttle to and from Narita airport and Narita train station and it was very convenient for short stay without own transportation. Hotel rate was lower than other Narita area hotels but they provided average facility. I prefer to...

We decided to stay at Narita as our plane arrived in the evening. It was fine for one night. It offered a basic style room The breakfast was good. We caught the free shuttle to/from airport and again on the following day to connect to our bus into Tokyo.

We booked this hotel because it was the only pet friendly hotel around the airport and we were flying with our dog so we booked it. We were disappointed because first for staying with a pet we had to pay double the price, not a fee like at other hotels we stayed, and at paying double the price it definitely...

I have travelled a lot but was very disappointed by this hotel. The staff were friendly but the hotel is tired, dated and the decor shabby and the furniture stained. We arrived late and just needed to sleep, but even in our tired state we could not miss that this place needs a makeover. The bed is hard as nails...

The plus is the bed sheets and bathroom were clean, the staff friendly. The negative - the couch was so badly stained we did not want to sit on it. The only drinks provided in the room were two tea bags. The decor had not been updated since the 70's. The walls, carpet and curtains looked dirty. We had booked...

Best for lay over or short stay during transit because it is very far from Tokyo. It is a 10 minutes drive to Narita Airport or Narita City because both are in different direction. The restaurant in the hotel only serve breakfast and the souvenir and convenient stores inside the hotel close quite early. There is also a gym at...

We've been to 7 hotels&hostels during our Japan trip. One was great, a few were good, one was bad and this was the worst. The location is quite good and the toilet + size of the room make you think it's posh, but it's not. Every piece of furniture or electronics is outdated. Until here it's okay; it's still an...

A good value for money to stopover for a night on your way back home. They offer free shuttle buses to the Aeon Mall at Narita, also Narita Train Station, not to forget the Narita Airport. They have a good restaurant offering a smorgasbord breakfast lunch or dinner. There is a small health club and a nice Japanese Garden outside....
