Hi John, no issues with cable car, many people also take their luggage up the cable car. Make sure if you're going uphill from Gora to get off on the RIGHT side of the station! and it's a short walk down the road, at the fork keep right (downhill) and it's a little on your left.
No issues with language at reception.
