I stayed at this hotel with my wife on a recent tour of Japan. This was the second hotel we stayed at and we travelled up from Tokyo. Hakone area is a stunning place and if you have any plans to take in views Mount Fuji on your trip this hotel sits right in the middle of everything you need...

We recently stayed for two nights at this modern styled hotel, loved the spacious bedroom, absolutely huge. Especially loved being able to open the windows, so rare today in modern hotels. Albeit the sulphur smell in the air is a little discouraging. The Japanese restaurant was a delight, the food a little challenging for us. Happy hour from 4pm to...

This was the last night of my week in Japan, and a great choice to finish on a "high". A hotel shuttle from Odawara station, through nice scenery, to a beautiful room overlooking the mountains and scenery. Great service from very pleasant staff who spoke excellent English. Everything you could want for in a hotel room, from tea and coffee...

Nice hotel; onsen ok but nothing special, our room had no view at all (looked at backside of other building). What a shame and a total mislead from the pictures of the booking site, no other option to eat out but hotel - food is ok but overpriced. So for what we payed quite disappointing.

Being recommended by a friend, I arrived this fantastic hotel/resort and Spa in the middle of fantastic nature: amazing! Beautiful location from where you can spot Mt. Fuji, we've been offered a spacious suite, with all comfort and 180 degrees view on the forest. Service is very professional. Special mention for the sushi restaurant, the Dining Room: I had the...

We have just come back from Hyatt Hakone. We spent a night to celebrate my hubby's birthday. I go to esthetic salon quite often but this spa massage was wow! look at my legs!! nice & slim:) There is Mt. Fuji view from our room and stylish yet relax. Free drinks at 16~19:00 at fire place made us so special.

During our trips to Osaka to Tokyo we visited Hakone and we choose Hyatt as we would like to enjoy the onsen and enjoy the mountain atmosphere in Japan. Our room is huge with fantastic view to the mountain. The lobby is so beautiful nice ambiance and we enjoy our wine. The breakfast choice is awesome. They provide shuttle to...

This hotel is situated on a hill up Gora train station. Not particular a large scaled hotel but got everything it needs to be 5 stars. Hotel has shuttle bus taking you uphill on call but that service ends quite early I think around 17:30. After that you will need to take a taxi ... only if that's available. We...

Really enjoyed our 2-night stay here. Good: - The size of the room and bed! Decided to give ourselves a treat at Hakone (other hotels for the rest of our trip were a lot smaller) - The shuttle between the hotel and Gora stn was really convenient. We took the shuttle bus to odawara stn on the last day too...

We were travelling around Japan for 2 weeks. Had a great time but it was tiring. Came here for a 2 night stay. It was just perfect. We were upgraded to a stunning room. Fantastic views, very spacious. Modern design but keeping the best bits of a traditional ryokan. Huge bed, sophisticated lighting system, Bose sound system. The staff are...
