The owner Jun-san is very friendly and helpful. He gave us a Nara map and explain to us where to see cherry blossom and recommend some local delicacies to us as well. The hotel has very modern feel, small but very comfortable setup. It is well maintained and very clean. Walking distance from train station, and quite near to shopping...

I have only good words for this Japanese Guest House. The pictures posted online is really the actual facility. It is clean within a quiet and safe neighborhood. Only 5 minutes walk from Kintetsu Nara Station and near the ancient temples of Nara. We booked for 5 nights a traditional Japanese bedroom good for 4 persons. It has a private...

If you are keen for a quiet Japanese guesthouse experience, this is a great option. Close to everything, the owner is extremely helpful and his English is very good, and the rooms are cozy. Highly recommended for the budget traveler. There is a kitchen as well if you are keen to make your own food to save a few bucks.

This guest house is located in a small alley but is very close to Nara Park. The host Jun is very helpful and offered places to eat around the neighborhood. The shower is good but the sink is too small. It takes some time to get used to. The place is well maintained, quiet and clean. I will go back...

We arrived earlier than scheduled check-in, so left our luggage with the staff when we arrived (which was not that far of a walk from the Nara train station). They even sent us an email prior to the trip with a map of how to get there. When we arrived later, he had already put our stuff in our room...

Great location, excellent host who was very helpful and knowledgeable, traditional Japanese rooms, bikes for rent, very very clean and good price for value. Has a kitchen if you want to prepare your own food. Nara is a charming city that shouldn't be missed.
