I decided to stay here fr. 28 Mar to 1 Apr 2017 because I could go to Ohori Park, Maizura Park & Nishi Park by foot to see cherry blossom easily. It's a pity I went a bit too early for full cherry blossom. The hotel was clean and quality of service was high. The bathroom facilities were clean and...

When we were checking in, there was a couple before us so we waited our turn. There was another couple behind us. As soon as the other Front desk staff, Atanabe, was free, she motioned the couple behind us. Is that really how it is? You prioritized The couple behind us because they were Japanese? I think that wasn't fair....

You can reach the hotel in one minute from Subway Ohori Koen station, Ohori Park and Remains of Fukuoka Castle are quite near. 10-15 minutes walk to Nagahama Fish Market & many Ramen shops. The room is clean and the staffs are all very friendly and informative. I would stay there for sure if I would visit Fukuoka again.

Pros: It was cheap, clean, tiny (but livable), and a few steps from ohori park (has a starbucks where you can have your breakfast or coffee fix while strolling around the park). Near 7 eleven and mini stop. subway station is at the corner (near). Cons: I chose this hotel mainly coz it said in their website they had a...

We stayed at Hotel Sunline Ohori in Fukuoka, it was very cheap and we got a free upgrade from double to twin. The staff were friendly and very polite. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The location is awesome, its right next to Ohori station, so by train, not very far from yatai and night life. They don't have...

This was one of a few "business hotels" we stayed in in Japan and was probably the best one. The room was slightly bigger than others we went to, although still pretty small. The shower was very good. The hotel is located right by a metro station so is really easy to get to from Hakata station (Kuko line). We...

Stayed for 3 nights to pick up a Korean visa. Hotel was great value for money, with friendly, English-speaking staff and in a great location. The hotel was a 15 minute, simple walk to the consulate and a 15 minute tube ride to the airport. There was more than enough around the area to keep us occupied; Ohori Park was...

The Sunline hotel is well located, 1 minute walk to the Ohorikoen (K6). Clean room with free toiletries. Friendly staff, free bikes and good wifi. A good place to stay in Fukuoka. Subway connections: 20 min to Fukuoka airport, 10 min to Hakata Station

Located just couple of minutes from Ohorikoen Station, this hotel is perfectly situated 2 stops away from Tenpin City and other great attractions. The famous Ohori Park is just opposite, a great start to the day by having breakfast by the lake and enjoy the tranquility. We booked a Twin room and its huge comparing to a Japan standard. Rooms...

I searched long for a reasonably-priced modern hotel near the Hakata station and this was one of the two which I eventually booked and I'm very satisfied with it. Service staff could communicate in English and we had a special request for some documents to fulfill our travel insurance requirements and they managed to help us with that (in many...
