This is the first time we visit Fukuoka. We stay in this Daiwa Roynet Hotel for 7 days. We are very happy with its location. Only 4 subway train station stops and then takes 3 minutes walk out of Exit 3 at Gion Station and we are arrived. Front deck staffs are friendly and helpful even only speak limited English....

When booking through our trip in Japan we had a weekend where other cities were booked out, I think it was a holiday weekend with a public holiday on the Monday, so tried our luck here. Found the cost on the weekend far above other places, interesting electronic booth checkin and tea coffee etc given across the counter. Didn't find...

This hotel was our last stop of Kyushu family trip, stayed here for two nights. We booked two deluxe double rooms and one standard double room, price was okay not included breakfast but we went to the Restaurant Yayoi-ken for dinner, order from service machine and wait for your food, tasty yet convenient. This was my third time stay at...

Thank you so much for your stay. We are so happy to hear that you had a great time in Japan. You migh have found so many machines in Japan and we also have machines for check-in. We hope you didn't get tired of using them. Acutually there is a elevator in subway station of Gion-machi. Sorry for not telling...

Our room was modern and clean, the bed was really hard, but I think that's common for Japan. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Staff also speak English and gave us plenty of coffee and toiletry items for our stay. Lovely, quiet and central location.

Location of the hotel is good- 100 yen bus stop to Tenjin is just outside, 10 minutes walk to Hakata Station and about 10 minutes walk to Canal City in the opposite direction. Reception desk staff were excellent- very polite and efficient, always smiling and very helpful. Ms Riho Mikurino gave detailed directions to a popular restaurant and even offered...

The Daiwa - Roynet is tucked in near several points of interest, and with easy access to subway and Hakata station (main station to catch bus and train). Hakata station is walkable. It (hotel) is also about 10-15 minutes from the airport via taxi. The staff were very kind, and made every effort to assist me even through English is...

With its decent sized bed and room, Daiwa Roynet is just one stop away from Hakata Station and one-minute walk from Gion Subway. It serves Japanese style breakfast at the restaurant within its premise. Places within walking distance are the Canal City, a famous shrine and shopping arcade nearby, and the food stalls (Yatai) that line the canal by night....

This hotel is right next to the Gion subway station only 4 stops from the airport which is why I chose it as I had an overnight layover on a flight from Korea. The location is also good for eateries, bars etc. Although there are not many places where English was easy to use.

Though 3 star, it was a wonderful experience for us. It was interesting to note that they provide coffee and shower amenities (e.g. comb, headband) for you to take first before you proceed up to your room. I suppose the room was a typical business hotel. Definately could open both our suitcase, however we won't have any space to walk...

It's pointless to accuse Daiwa Roynet Gion of being a "formula" hotel and rooms being identikit. if you want something unique, book a homestay. This 3-star budget chain hotel lives up to what it promises - a clean and tidy room. Staff, as most others in Japan, has been helpful and polite. At the rate I got, I have no...
