Never has the expression "the gloss has worn off" been more appropriate to a hotel in my experience than the Nikko Hotel in Fukuoka. We navigated here fairly easily after arriving in Fukuoka via the Shinkansen ... its about 5 minutes walk from the train station along a fairly busy street. The foyer of this hotel is rather grand and...

This is my first time to stay at this hotel. Service is good , staffs are helpful, but if they can have more smiling, would be better. There are lots of celebrations events of New Year, all are amazing . Hotel also gives every guest a small gift for New year. Room: a little bit dated, and I found some...

Located next to Hakata station and nearby malls with many restaurants and supermarkets in Hakata City. Location is a plus. Better than Canal City in my opinion. Hotel rooms are clean and comfortable. Good sized too. Will stay ahain if i return to Fukuoka.

Nikko Hotel has relatively big rooms compared to space constrained Japanese hotels. We have 2 adjoining rooms for the family. We left our luggage there when we drove to Takachiho and Kurogawa. When we returned, we noticed that the staff provided additional towels based on our earlier request. The hotel is well located to Hakata station and tourist spots. I...

Less than five minutes walk from the Fukuoka train subway and bus stations the Nikko's location is great for travelers. You don't even have to cross the street as can be reached using the subterranean walkway. my room wad slightly on the small side but more than adequate. You need not bring any toiletries as all provided along with pjs...

Our family of four stayed 6 nights in connecting rooms at the Nikko. The rooms are spacious by Japanese standards and the location is very convenient, literally across the road and a 5 minute walk to Hakata train station where you need to go to catch all the trains to anywhere in Fukuoka prefecture. There are several convenience stores within...

A short walk from Hakata Station and close to many of the local sites. Reasonable sized room, good storage space available and neat and clean. The gym wasn't to my liking and overpriced, I found a gym outside of the hotel and paid for a casual visit (about a quarter of the price). Really struggled with the directions on the...

The locale is great, with a direct link to the underpass linking Hakata and Gion stations, which is great for wet days. There is a 7-11 just next door and Hakata city as well as some car rental agencies are just minutes away. On the down side, the decor is dated and the hotel charges extra for use of the...

Nice big hotel with English speaking staff. Spacious room and convenient location. Good firm beds but not the pillows. I requested and got the softer pillows we like promptly. Didn't try hotel restaurants as we were spoiled for choice in Fukuoka. Commendable concierge who made restaurant bookings for us. Charge for swimming pool use is outrageous! So I didn't go!
