Nice place, room is small but nice and clean. Public bath is small too. There are public hot water/ coffee/ tea at 3rd floor. 10 minutes waking form Beppu train station and there is a big supermarket around the corner. Recommended.

Location was really nice to stay. All restaurant located very close to ryokan. Room is good for asian but may be a bit small for europe or american. The private Bathroom was also special for our couple just only 1080 Yen and you can book in advance :)

Further on you can use the spa for an hour for each night you stay there. Very hot, clean, but register yourself early for the spa, otherwise you get...

Inconvenient for those who need to use bathroom frequently. Outside my room is already common area with lots of magazines and comic books for reading,...

Here we got a chance to try a japanese Onsen, as they have three different ones and you are allowed to bath in one per one night you stay. The onsen is reserved only for you for a time, so you can take a bath with your family. We had our best sleep in our trip in Nogamihonkan Ryokan tatami-beds....
