If you are a shy person, you may be even surprised how friendly the owners are. They just love to help you and make sure your stay in the island as nice as possible.

The room is really charming and the 'almost-private' beach (as they share the beach with one next door neighbour) is one min away. It comes with proper kitchen and basic things (soy source, cooking oil, salt & suger and Okinawan spices) so be ready to cook as much as you want.
We picked veggies and Ishigaki beef on our way and just simply grilled. It made a perfect dinner at the balcony overlooking sunset.

The best was star gazing - it was our first time to see the real milky way and shooting stars with our own eyes. It was worth driving half an hour from the city centre to stay in that perfect darkness!

The time with other guests over drinks and cooking your own food as you like make you feel like you are almost at home. Of course it is not easy for non Japanese speakers...
