Brilliant location- right by the train station (and a full grocery store with great take-away) and the ferries. Easy walk to the waterfront to exercise or just enjoy the view. Excellent breakfast. Staff, although limited in English (per usual in Japan) were super helpful, cheerful, happy to use Google Translate to assist, got me where I needed to be and... More

Especially if you came to Takamatsu ferry. Nice room, nuce sttaf - arent they all in Japan? Too little English... Clise to train station and the castle. We had a room with no view. Ask for a view as it must be great. Near the entrace great bakery.... you even receuve a cupon of 10% reduction from the hotel. Enjoy.

We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights in a deluxe corner room. - Excellent location opposite to JR station and the ferry port. Convenient for visiting the Setouchi islands. The local tram station is also nearby. - Great view of the habour from hotel room. - (Corner) Room is large in Japanese hotel standards. Slightly aged but clean. The... More

This hotel is excellent. We had a Japanese room and really enjoyed the space and view. Breakfast buffet is great; you will not need lunch. For dinner fun, try the many mini-restaurants across the sky bridge.

The JR Hotel Clement is fine but in need of a good cleaning or refurbishment. The carpet in the room would have benefited from a steam clean. The rooms are of a reasonable size but expensive when compared to other hotels in Japan. It may be a local trait but the staff were far more reserved than we have found... More

Modern 4 stars hotel. Good service, nice room, very good sleeping. 2 minutes walk from JR train station and 3 minutes walk from the ferry terminal to the art islands. Lots of restaurants with in walking distance. Very good place to stay in. We recommend .

We had a lovely, large room with a great view of the harbor. There are several restaurants on site and a bakery which--alas--doesn't open until 9am. The convenience can't be overstated. You can walk 3 minutes from the station, the bus terminal, the castle and the ferries to the smaller islands. If only there was a fitness center!

Next to JM Station and long distance bus stop, this up-scale hotel is extremely convenient. A big supermarket is nearby and as usual, many restaurants around the Station / hotel. Modern with grand lobby, this is a sort of luxurious hotel in this small town. Our room facing the pier is spacious by Japanese standard. Very comfortable. Staff are good,... More

We loved our stay in this hotel. There was a mixup when we booked in and were inadvertently given a room on a smoking floor. The mistake was recognised and we were offered an alternative room. However the original, smokers room, was fantastic. The lobby on the floor smelled of smoke but the room itself was surprisingly clean smelling. The... More
