Went during the cold winter.
The hotel standard is beyond my expectation. Staff are friendly and warm.
We had both Japanese style dinner and breakfast. Food are delicious.
The hotel room comes with a very good view. It is spacious and comfortable.
This has been our yearly retreat during winter. This time we didnt get the usual room, it was a slightly expensive family suites, that has a small kitchenette and extra room for kids.

There are no shops around the hotel. It's a good and quiet place to relax, away from the city. If you like to ski, the Hakkoda ropeway is just a short drive from hotel. The hotel provides transport to the ropeway.

I think it takes about 10 minutes.
According to my experience, you can go to the ski lifts by bus at a little money or for free.
