The Daiwa Roynet Hotel close to the train station in Morioka was an excellent choice for a short one-night stay in Morioka, the location being well surrounded by restaurants and small shops (which makes it easy to get food).

The room was very comfortable. I must emphasise that it was quite spacious relative to its price, at least when comparison is made with what we could get in Tokyo for a similar amount of money. I was hence in great conditions to work after dinner, and in addition, I slept very well. The latter was of utmost importance for me after my long journey from Europe. Moreover, I was pleased to see that there was both a shower and a bath tube in the bathroom, and I would like to point out that the managers at the front desk were friendly, professional and very helpful (which is quite important for people like me who do not speak Japanese).

I recommend this place very strongly.

This was my first time staying at this hotel, and checking in and out was easy. The lobby is on the first floor, so it's convenient to go to a 7-Eleven without going outside. The drip-packed coffee was also delicious. There was a bathtub separate from the shower area in the bathroom, so I was able to relax in the hot water. I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

I have already visited Morioka many times.
In the beginning, I don't feel like I ever saw you inbound.
Now, however, we see it all the time.
The media has had a big influence on me.

Not only sightseeing, but also delicious food is one of the great attractions of visiting Morioka.
We are always asked to assign a room to Kitakami River where we can see the Kaiun Bridge.

This time, we had more international guests than usual.

The attraction of this hotel is the bathroom.
I received a bath salt from the front desk and put it in the bathtub to enjoy the bath.
There is also a separate washing area, which counts as one of the benefits of not having to wash in the bathtub.

It's actually the "Daiwa Roynet Morioka Ekimae" (not to be confused with the "Daiwa Roynet Morioka"), not sure why Trip Advisor has left out the "Daiwa". Anyhow, I enjoyed my 3 nights here, particularly the great view of the bridge, river and city streets, it was both scenic and interesting. One of the windows actually opened too. It was nice to just sit there and watch.

I had a large, comfy bed (no bedside tables) and another comfy item, a recliner chair which was near said window (thumbs up). The room inlcuded a small table, fridge, safe, humidifier, small desk, tv and two drawers as well as hanging space. The carpet had seen better days but that didn't worry me. There was room for both my large wheeled suitcase and large backpack, without having to step over them. There was a deep bath with a good big sink which had room for toiletries on both sides. The wifi worked well.

The staff were nice, and one of them kindly acted as translator when a local woman who'd helped me after I had a fall, came to visit. We all had a bit of a chat in the lobby (which is large and with seating).

The hotel is near the station as its name implies, and a short walk from Morioka Castle Park and the History & Culture Museum, the downtown shopping centre and lots of other things to see and do.

Stayed in moderate double room for 3 nights as my base to visit Hiraizumi, Ichinoseki, and Ryusendo.
Hotel were clean, near to station, and various amenities like facial mask, toiletries, bath salt, coffee and etc. at the hotel lobby
Coin laundry also available. Hotel staff cannot speak in English much yet they still try their best to help us with restaurant booking and etc.
Hotel is near to station, about 5min walk from station, just use the underpass from station to cross the road.
Will stay again if need to visit Morioka.

When it comes to Japanese hotel brands, what kind of group do you think of? I guess what I think of is a bit out of date given my age, but I have still stayed in some hotels of some groups.

For general group hotels, there is an impression of quality assurance. As for Japanese hotel groups, what I think of is APA's business-oriented brand. In addition, Dormi Group is also a company that I have a deep impression of. The most important thing is their quality. With special services (such as breakfast and hot spring related), Duomi is one of my favorite hotel brands to stay in.

As for other hotels such as Richmond or Yamato, they are relatively unfamiliar to me. I can only imagine through sharing online. Most of the people who stayed at their hotels received a lot of praise, and I was very curious about what is so special about their hotels. It has received so many positive reviews.

This time I stayed at their hotel located in front of Morioka Station. This hotel is close to Kaiyun Bridge. It takes about 6-7 minutes to walk from the station to the hotel. The most time-consuming time is walking under the underground tunnel. If you come here At Morioka Station, please exit from the south exit and walk through the underground tunnel.

There is no zebra crossing on the road in front of the station. Pedestrians basically use the underground passage. For exits, you can choose the two exits A1 and A2. There is an elevator at this exit to go to the upper floor. Needless to say, it is convenient for carrying luggage, because All other exits are stairs. You can reach the hotel entrance by going up and down the elevator without walking across the Kaiyun Bridge. Since the entrance is located next to a convenience store, it is sometimes easy to miss it.

This is my first time staying at their hotel. Since it was the peak time for check-in procedures when I arrived, it took a little time, but it was still smooth. Generally, they will open three counters to handle check-in procedures, which is acceptable to the hotel. For packages, it’s just about the quantity and delivery time. Try to keep 2 packages within a week and don’t deliver them too early.

Basically, from the time I checked in, I experienced that the service of this hotel was really good. My friends also highly recommended their hotel. I finally had the opportunity to stay here this time. After staying, I really liked the furnishings and overall feel of the room. It was really refreshing. It's a bit like my first stay at a Dormy Inn. Their rooms feel relatively comfortable and not too small.

The room I live in is No. 1017. The best thing about this room is that you can see the Kaiyun Bridge below when you open the curtains. Since I came in winter, you can see the Kaiyun Bridge in the room at night even if you don't go out. The other most interesting thing is the bathroom with separate wet and dry areas.

The main thing is the bright lighting. The bathroom is white and the lights are on, so the whole bathroom is my personal favorite place in the room. The main thing is the separation of dry and wet areas, which makes me feel very good, because it is really rare to live in such a place. It's a hotel, so it adds a lot to my impression. The room can also access the Internet. The name and password for the Internet can be used to turn on the TV. It is on the startup screen at the beginning, but it is a little troublesome because it is not written on the room card. on the card.

The bed in this room is a double bed. In addition to ample charging facilities, the room also has a small table and a single sofa chair. Basically, it has all the necessary desks and refrigerators. , if you need hot spring powder and coffee bags, you can get them in the lobby.

Basically, this hotel has complete facilities. You can go directly to the convenience store from the lobby exit. Even if you are hungry at night, you can go down to the convenience store on the first floor to buy something and then return to the room. Simply put, it is an excellent hotel. A good hotel. The style of the hotel itself makes me feel at home, and the overall feel of the hotel is excellent.

I only stayed in this hotel for one night. Basically, I liked it from the moment I checked in. I don’t know if the hotel room meets my needs. What I like most is that I can see the famous Kaiyun Bridge outside the room window. To avoid this, the overall decoration of the room is mainly warm colors. It is a pity that I only stayed for one night, otherwise I could have experienced more.

Basically, I am very happy to stay in this hotel. I am also very satisfied with the room I stayed in that day. It is very good and very good. The most important thing is that the living functions nearby are good. Although there is only one convenience store, it is enough. Now, at least I can buy things without going out, and I don’t have to worry about bad weather.

There are two Daiwa Roynet hotels in Morioka. One is closer to Morioka Station, which is the Daiwa Roynet Hotel in front of the station where I stayed. The other is a little further and requires a ride or a bit of walking. Basically, there is no transportation. Or This hotel in front of the station is more convenient. If you travel to Morioka, this is a very good hotel. Although this is not my first time coming to Morioka, it is the best hotel experience I have ever had.

My wife and I had a great stay at this hotel. It is a short, 7 minute walk from the train station. We had a very nice room overlooking the river and with views of the mountains to the east. Though the hotel was busy with guests there for a long weekend, our room was very quiet and peaceful.

We requested and quickly received extra pillows and were able to easily adjust the room heat using the control pad on the wall. We were able to monitor the availability of the onsite washing machines through the room TV and easily got a load of laundry done. The bathroom was spacious and had the ever-present smart toilet and a very nice rain shower and soaking tub. A range of amenities were available at the check-in desk on the main floor.

There are lots of restaurants within a 10 - 15 minute walk along with all kinds of shopping options. This is a great starting point for a walking loop of some of the sights in Morioka, such as the rock splitting cherry tree and the Iwate Bank building, or for a stroll or run along the river on the upper or lower paths.
