Stayed here for 3 nights with my partner and 9yr old daughter in a twin room. Beds are a lot smaller in japan so we pushed the two together to fit us all. This hotel is in a great central location on the main road, just meters away from Clis Road and Aoba-dori Station. Washing facilities are free to use but must be reserved in advance. I suggest doing laundry during the day not at night. Rooms are a little tired and air con didn't work so well but overall a nice place to stay.
I had a great experience at this hotel. It was modestly sized, as are most Japanese hotels, but the staff were helpful to a T. It is located near the shopping streets, and within walking distance to Sendai Station.
Stayed here for one night. The room seemed pretty dark -- they could use more lights. In fact we had to re-position the standing light to dark corner near the foot of the bed. The window we had used frosted glass, which was good because about 10 feet away are windows of an office building. The room seemed a bit stuffy at first but you could open the window and it was fine. Breakfast was good, and they serve free coffee throughout the day -- and the coffee is great. The staff was friendly. I'd recommend this place to budget travelers who have been on the road a while, as you can do your own laundry. A quick pointer upon checking in. if you have heavy suitcases, when first walking in it looks like you will have to lug it up a flight of stairs. Note that the elevator is deep into first floor, next to the defunct restaurant. They don't have the lights on back there, and it's dark, so you might miss it.…
Extremely courteous and friendly staffs, going all out to help make our 2 nights stay very pleasant, despite the fact that I do not understand Japanese. They did not hesitate to help store my bags on early arrival and late departure. My room was basic with a large double bed, and is very clean. It is serviced daily. All bathroom amenities are provided. The laundrette, with washing machines and dryers, on the second (or third floor?) is are freely accessible for in house guest, other than paying a small sum for some soap powder. A tasty breakfast was included in the price of the room. I was determined to book for another stay here next April, but unfortunately is already fully booked! Guess this speaks much about this hotel!!!
This hotel offers just the most basic services. Its one of the so called business hotels meant to provide roof above your head for cheap price. Room was around 12 sq. metres, amenities included AC, TV, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo and towels. It´s close to Sendai station, say less than 10 minutes walk. Price was some 110 USD which I believe must have been special price hiked because of the fact all the hotels in the town were fully booked because of an important event. Normally a night at this kind of hotel costs 60-80 USD in Japan. With all that said, hotel was clean which is what really matters. Basic, but good for a a night or two.
