The room in this hotel was amazing, however I was not pleased that the SPA was not available. When i wanted to use the SPA, the lady told us that it would be probably be available in maybe 2 or 3 hours because of paying customers or some other strange excuse. The bottom line I was not pleased that in...

Staff here were exceptional, as was the hotel. A true boutique hotel living up to the reputation of the SLH group of hotels. The decor for the rooms, restaurant and lounge areas is excellent, and the staff all speak very good English -- and are super-friendly!!. Highly recommended.

I had an exceptional dinner at Donatello Italian restaurant at Boutique Hotel in Almaty. The food and service were so good, I had to write and share my experience, I hope more travellers visit this place. Hidden in a busy part of the city, on the way up to stunningly beautiful mountains, a place of peace and tranquillity, remarkably it...

Pert...quiet, small and quite pretty. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The rooms are ample, light and nicely appointed as are the baths. Nice restaurant with good bar. Not for you if you want a lively night scene...this is definitely laid back.

We spent 2,5 nights there and the very first nice experience was that we were actually charged for this 2,5 nights period (we pre-agreed it before via e-mail). From the very beginning to the end staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms are very new, well furnished and luxury (hotel was only opened in late 2011). Only disadvantage was a...

After a few days in a sub-standard hotel in Astana I traveled to Almaty and stayed at Donatello Boutique Hotel. It was a fantastic change. For Kazakhstan, Donatello's is definitely at the top end of quality. The room was lovely, bathroom was great. The only two recommendations... the heat can't be controlled and the room was a bit too hot...

Almaty is a great city to visit, bounded by mountains it’s the ultimate holiday destination. Not that long ago me and my husband stopped in small, fashionable and truly amazing hotel that we both fall in love with. Domatello Hotel became our favourite place to stay because of its location, amenity, and consistency of service, fantastic food and value for...

This hotel looks really impressive, modern design, but the mail problem is low quality raw materials used for the equipment. In this new hotel I had broken light switch in the room, the bathroom fittings (made of plastic) were poor attached to the wall. There was a problem with central heating in the hotel, without opening the window the temperature...

After a couple of average hotel experiences in Kazakhstan I stumpled upon this small but very exclusive hotel in Almaty. Situated next to the big Royal Tulip hotel it seems like a small villa next to a castle. But once inside you forget all about that. Inspired by the Italians I found a hotel with spacius rooms with excellent furnitures...
