Small camp with beautiful tents all facing Kilimanjaro. You wake up looking at it and you to bed looking at it. Dining room, bar and sitting area very nice. There is a lit water hole right below dining room so we saw elephants in the morning and evening. Even saw a cheetah. Because it is not fenced Masai men escort...

This is a Masai-run camp near Amboseli National Park. It's located on its own conservancy. The main building is beautiful, constructed out of native woods and imaginatively put together. The tents are nice, too. There is even a water hole below the dining area where you can watch elephant, zebra, waterbuck, and other animals come and go. Our only complaints...

Satao Elerai exceeded my expectations in every way from the views to the safari to the accommodation and especially the staff. It's a special place that I hope to return to as soon as possible. I don't think I've stayed at a place where the staff are so warm and welcoming. Special thanks go to Julius, Jonathan, Benson and Isaiah...

We were so happy to return to Satao Elerai, see the wildlife and relax in such a comfortable, eco-friendly, lodge with such welcoming staff. The tents were spacious, clean and well-equipped - including USB charge points which we thought was a clever touch. Waking up in the morning to some great views of Mt Kilimanjaro was also really special. The...

One of our best safaris so far. The views from the lodge are stunning, the staff is very friendly and the food is excellent. The tents are very comfortable and facing the Kilimanjaro. During our stay the Kili and Mwenzi were visible from morning till evening. Satao Elerai arguably has one of the best sundowner spots in Kenya with far-reaching...

My wife and I arrived at Satao Elerai on 18th January and left on 21st January. We have visited many Kenyan safari lodges over the past 20 years but seldom seen a lodge that exceeds Elerai. With the water hole right in front of the main terrasse no end of elephants, zebra, giraffe, genu, wart hogs, water buck visited to drink...

We had a wonderful few days at Satao Elerai in the Amboseli Ecosystem in Dec 2016. The camp is built within the large boulders and harsh bush of Amboseli. The camp being on the smaller scale meant it was intimate and friendly. There are a varied range of comfortable seating areas to view the many animals that approach the camps waterhole....

Imagine waking up at the crack of dawn and looking out from your tent, with a cup of freshly brewed coffee in hand, and take in the fabulous view of Mt. Kilimanjaro basking in the early morning light! I could just sit all day and enjoy the view. Divert your eyes a little closer and you will several parades of...
