A very nice camp. The tents are well equipped and spacious, clean and comfortable. Nice bathroom and shower. There was a comfortable outside sitting area as well. Nice bar area where we did wi-fi and dining room with good views. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Our driver Alex was excellent and helpful in getting us photos/videos, which is...

Facilities: About as good as a true authentic African bush experience as you can have along with some of the comforts of home. A luxurious tented camp . Nice common area. No gym or ability to exercise. Nice watering hole that attracts animals visible from dining room and some tents. Staff: Excellent service, attentive, friendly. Game Drives: Usually have two...

The camp and tents are very nice and clean. Always had hot water and wifi. I had a very nice and attentive guy assigned to me named Stanley.. He was really great and so was Freddy. Some of the other staff seemed a bit adrift, but I am there for the animals as I am a photographer. Food was decent....

With still one game drive to go this afternoon I can already say that this is a wonderful safari lodge The staff is very helpful and kind and our driver Alex does his utmost best to show us the area and wildlife. The best thing about Tortilis is that the drivers are allowed to go to a private concession just...

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review for Tortilis Camp! Most lodges in Amboseli are based in the middle of the National Park (or outside the eastern gate), however we are located on the south-west border of the park, providing unrivaled views of Mount Kilimanjaro and also providing guests with, as you mention, access to...

This Camp is located in the Center of the Park and includes a waterhole popular with elephants, giraffes and all wildlife. The accommodations are rather nice but lighting is insufficient. Having a door problem taken care of took many requests. The restaurant is on a hill overlooking the waterhole. The food is okay and plentiful. The staff varies from friendly to...

This is a luxury, high-end camp in a quiet part of Amboseli Nat'l Park. Our guide, Alex, was very knowledgeable and one of the better guides I've met on Safari. There is a watering hole in the camp which attracts animals (we saw giraffes, elephants, warthogs and lots of baboons and dik diks) as well as a swimming pool and...

As our first ever safari experience, we were overwhelmed with the quality of the camp, our gorgeous Private House, stunning views, amazing fresh food ( our server Eunice was a doll!) and TOP NOTCH guide Joseph, who taught us EVERTHING we needed to know about the animals we experienced. He was knowledgeable, professional, and good natured providing the most amazing...

Very warm welcome provided by our guide Ali, upon reaching the air strip and thereafter by Lori and Johan at the camp. Awed by the space in the tents and the view of the Mt Kilimanjaro. Food was particularly nice with the presence of William. He really is a friendly guy who likes to joke. Talking to him just makes...
