Spent 3 days here, 2 in the conservancy and the third in the Amboseli reserve. Amazing place. The wetlands are astounding with hundreds of elephants and hippos wallowing. Abundant bird life abounds. Of course all th other suspects are there, giraffe , buffalo baboon , wildebeest etc etc. Of course the camp was wonderful with great accommodation, superb staff and...

From the time Dennis and Katou met us at the airstrip until they waved us goodbye 3 days later, we could not have hoped for a more relaxed and welcoming start to our Kenyan Safari. Porini Amboseli Camp was quiet during our stay so we had the luxury of a vehicle all to ourselves, as well as the undivided attention...

I spent my 60th birthday here and could not have had a better time! The staff are so friendly and go the extra mile to make sure you have a great experience. The camp is in a beautiful tract of bush. Feels miles from anywhere. The tents are beautiful , spacious and very comfortable. The food is excellent. On my birthday,...

This was the first of three Porini camps we stayed at during a 10-day safari and everything about it was amazing. The tents and facilities are awesome. You fly in and land on a dirt airstrip and it has a solar-powered loo with flush toilet! Everything about our time there was so wonderful, and we saw so many animals that...

We stayed at three Ponini camps for our honeymoon and started off with 2 nights at the Selenkay camp. We were flown into the bush in a private cesna, a brilliant start and lots of fun! Our first day included a trip to the local Maasai village, where we were warmly greeted and given a surprise traditional marriage ceremony to...

Our stay at Selengay was absolutely wonderful! The usual fabulous Porini service which is really impressive made the two nights there simply fab! Your manager Tony couldn’t have been more accommodating ( and what a nice chap!!) - he even sent the car to meet us (we would have surely got terribly lost otherwise as driving in from Taveta). Anyhow...

We had a great experience at the camp - living in the tents with the unique shower arrangements, the warm hospitality of the staff, food catered to suit your tastes and of course the local knowledge and expertise of the Masai guides; all made it an extremely interesting and different experience. The game drives in the National Park as well...

What I liked: where to begin? Staying on the Selenkay Conservancy was a wonderful experience. Because Porini hires local Masai as guides they knew the animals we saw--they could tell us about their kin. They loved the animals and as we were snapping away taking photos of the animals., the guides often joined in and would share the photos with...
