We traveled with a group of 9 to Ol Donyo and had 4 rooms. All are amazingly beautiful. We had 2 that had glass doors out to the patio and pool area and 2 that had heavy curtains. The units with the glass were open between the top of the glass and the roof so they are not any different that the curtains as far as keeping bugs out. There were not a lot of bugs and all the beds have mosquito nets at night. In Africa, it is our preference to be as open to the outdoors as possible as the evening and early morning sounds are wonderful. Definitely take ear plugs. I need them to sleep doors or no doors. Enjoy your trip!
