I don't know how to put into words the magic this place offers. We visited Ol Donyo Waus in the Chyulu Hills for three nights during the Safari portion of our honeymoon. We had an incredible villa with a plunge pool that overlooked the elephant watering hole. My husband and I LOVE elephants and could have laid in this pool...

Perfect in every way, from the moment we arrived, we were made so welcomed and looked after so well. Our suite was amazing, a spacious terrace, comfy sofas, sun loungers, plunge pool and straight ahead breathtaking views of Kilimanjaro. A luxurious bedroom, bathroom and a sitting room , all had glass doors onto the terrace, rather useful when the lights...

The two days I spent at Ol Donyo Lodge last week with my husband and two long time friends were absolutely pure luxury. Kim and her staff welcomed us warmly with cool towels and a glass of homemade ice tea. They showed us around the main area of the lodge, which is stunning and then to our wonderful villa with...

Ol Donyo is a wonderful place to really get away from it all. Every effort is made to make you feel as if you are the only guest in their care. Food is superb and the star bed on the roof of your room is amazing! Very romantic! Oh, and the action at the watering hole in front of your...

Dear Paula, Thank you for your kind review. It was so nice to see you and Dawn catching up on old times with nothing but laughter. Please do let Bill know that he ran with one of Kenya’s top runners! I spent 3 days over US President's Day weekend at Ol Donyo with two friends/colleagues who work in Kenya, and savored the experience. Our agent Rose Muya at Timeless Tours & Travel in Nairobi had recommended it a couple of times, and we wanted elephants and some of the winter migrant birds, so it fit the bill. Yes, all the...

Dear Laura, Thank you for your wonderful review. It was so lovely to see 3 good friends taking the time out of your busy lives to catch up, and no better place to have done this. The rain storm has transformed the area surrounding us to green. We will remember you all for happily chatting, laughing or having very intellectual...

Ol Donyo was one of 5 lodges at which we stayed during 2 weeks on safari in East Africa. We added Ol Donyo after we had most of our itinerary set, mainly because we were pretty much guaranteed a good elephant experience and I dearly wanted to see Mt. Kilimanjaro. The lodge delivered on these and much more. The genuine...

Thank you for this incredible review! We are so thrilled you enjoyed your holiday with us, probably as much as we enjoy living here. The last few days we have had substantial morning rain showers, and clear, sunny afternoons. It doesn’t get any better right now! Everything is looking so beautiful. We hope you will both be back soon!

Ol Donyo has been my favorite safari experience to date for a number of reasons. Its exclusivity is unrivaled in that the lodge is the only one on the whole 275,000acre property.
