Such a great lodge - beautifully located by the river. Accomodation, food and service are great. The meals outside by the river are a real experience and our final breakfast by the river was fab. Thank you so much.

Larsens Camp was the 2nd stop on our 3 week African honeymoon and stayed here for 3 days, 2 nights at and are SO glad we did!! We came here at the start of the off season (end of October), so our experience may have been influenced by the lack of guests on the grounds, just something to keep in...

Our family of 6, 4 mainly adult children spent 2 nights at this camp on the first of 4 places for our african safari. From the moment we arrived the staff could not have done enough for us. From David with his sling shot to keep away the monkeys, Evans the bar manager and Scholastica who served at meal times...

We had stayed in Larsens's Camp during our Easter break in April. This was our second time. Well the camp is beautiful with its landscaping with the Nyiro river right in front of the tent gushing with water. What put us off, was the food service. During one of the lunches, the camp ran out of food and we were...

With a location and staff that are both extraordinary, I spent 3 days there that I will cherish forever. A tent that faces sunrise and a river teeming with wildlife, I got up one morning to see an elephant in the dawn light grazing along the banks of the river. I was served excellent meals at a deck along the...

Larsens Camp was our first stop while on a two week safari. What a beautiful place. The staff was so accommodating and nice. The food was excellent and we loved all the little monkeys hanging around the camp. The tents are very comfortable. Can hardly call it a tent really :) The wake up call service was a nice perk...

We have just returned from a safari where we spent 8 wonderful nights at Larsens. The tents were excellent and the views spectacular. The staff were exceptional and made every effort to make our stay special, the food was also wonderful and we could not have received better treatment anywhere in Kenya! Samburu is my favourite park and Larsens is...

We stayed at Larsens five years ago when we were lucky enough to get an upgrade because the nearby Samburu Lodge was full. We enjoyed it so much that we vowed to come back one day. Well, this was the year and we spent three nights in this very luxurious camp. It is on the pricey side but you get...

We just stayed at Larsens for 3 nights in feb 2013 and loved everything there. It was very quiet with only a few guests which always is nice of course too, as we do not like big touristy places. The location on the river under the trees is really beautiful and we especially enjoyed all the animals roaming about in...

My family and I stayed at this camp this past August. As soon as we arrived we realized that two nights was way too short of a time for the beauty and the enchantment of the place. It is a camp spread over, under lovely vegetation, the banks of a river where hippos and crocodiles abound. The colors of the...
