Madagascar has very limited abilities overall across the country. But Grand Hotel in Diego suarez was very shocking for me. Restaurant was very nice and very delicious. Service almost excellent and staff very friendly. We have had very rush and service extremly quick.

after a long road trip we were pleased to get to the Grand, which is a very modern, big hotel in the centre of Diego Suarez. We were only there for 1 night, which was good as we had a room overlooking the main street and is was a Friday night....the LOUD music stopped about 4am!! friends who had rooms...

The hotel is situated in the Rue Colbert, the main shopping street (rue commercante as we would say in French) of Diego, and also the least dilapidated part of town. I had arrived that morning with Air Madagascar from Diego, and my luggage having been delayed I appreciated having some decent shops close to the hotel where I could buy...

Stayed here for a single night. The hotel is very clean, has all the facilities one would need for a comfortable stay but this could have been in any part of the world - the hotel is totally characterless. By local standards it is expensive. I could not really fault the hotel, but staying in a part of the world...

I just popped in for a drink one evening after wandering around the town recently. Despite the bar area being fairly quiet it was none the less a pleasant interlude to while away an hour or so with friends. The building is pretty impressive and would think the rooms and facilities would match, certainly the pool area looks a nice...

The hotel is situated in the centre of the city - a very convenient location for sightseeing on your own and spending a lazy evening over a glass of wine, watching life go by from the terrace. The historic, colonial, part of the city is at the reach of your hand. This place is fairly big, rooms are large and clean and...

I spent a few days in Diego Suarez with my boyfriend and other friends in November 2014. We did not stay at the Grand Hotel, but when we found ourselves with a lack of options for activities on a Sunday (as much of the town pretty much shuts down), we decided to spend a few hours at the Grand Hotel...

We stayed here just for one night out of four spent in Diego. It is a good hotel with swimming pool and European standards. The food is nothing special, rooms are ok and have air conditioning. we found it expensive and were quite upset by the kind of people present in the swimming pool, mainly white men with two or...

Thanks to weeks of trouble and strikes of Air Madagascar we got stuck in Ansiranana (alias Diego Suarez, or in short just 'Diego'), and the Grand Hotel was the third hotel in a row where we stayed during our prolonged stay. The hotel is situated at the main street in plain city center. The city center of this small city...
