Just stayed at Leslie Lodge for 4 weeks while volunteering at Queen's Hospital. Everything was perfect, a home away from home. Zino the new owner could not be more helpful. Always willing to offer recommendations about things to do and helping out with practical issues. All the staff were amazing, a big thank you to Veronica, the manager, Nia, Eva,...

I have stayed at Leslie Lodge on two occasions, once in October 2014 and again two years later in 2016 Despite a change in management the lodge remains one of the best places I have stayed in Malawi. Each room has its own unique character - whether it is a private garden or veranda, or a room with large patio...

We thank you for such a great in depth review. Quaint Decor - As new owners we have added 3 more rooms with more modern decor and furniture. We plan to slowly change all the rooms and give them a fresh modern look. Mosquito problem - we sincerely apologise for this issue. We do spray a chemical approved by the...

This is our most favorite place to stay in Blantyre. The service is great and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The rooms all have a private garden area which is wonderful. Great breakfast menu. So happy that the new owners have not dropped the standards set and are always welcoming and willing to assist with any requests.

Leslie Lodge was everything we hoped it would be - clean, well equipped, very comfortable and in a beautiful garden setting. The two duiker deer who live in the grounds and appear every morning and evening are an absolute delight. A special mention should go to the staff - from the assistant manager Veronica to the night watchman, Matches -...

Friendly and helpful staff in this relatively inexpensive guest house, a table for our takeaway was made available in the dining room on the first night by Veronique, Zino, the owner recommended and booked us a table in a very good Indian restaurant and exchange money for us. Large and comfortable rooms with bathrooms and private area to sit outside....

A great choice for our first stay on our Malawi trip. Zino Michael the new owner was away, having just become a new dad! But we were very well looked after by Veronica. Very spacious en suite rooms all looking on to their own bit of the lovely garden with the added interest of two Duiker deer. Zino introduced himself...

We had two rooms from May 23-28. One for my husband and I, and the other for our daughters, age 19 and 16. The new Lodge owner, Zino, was very helpful and friendly. We had several conversations with him and he took great interest in why our family was visiting Blantyre. He set up a water and land safari for...
