I recently spent a couple of nights at Annie's Lodge while waiting to start a build with Habitat for Humanity. The staff at the lodge were great. They took excellent care of us. The on site restaurant also did a really nice job. Every meal I had there was really good. We spent most of our time out in the...

Other than the power problem, which was reasonably resolved by gensets, and the very tight fitting rooms my stay was relatively pleasant. The big plus we're suppers which provided tasty food. Breakfasts was a bit lacking although you would not go wanting. A bug bear of mine when I travel is a cup of coffee first thing in the morning...

I only had one night here, but it was great. The room was comfortable with AC and a provided mosquito net. The food in the restaurant was great. Customer service was attentive and polite. The outside tables were a perfect place to relax and have a drink.

This was my second visit to Annie's and once again I was welcomed with smiles and warm greetings. If you've been here before you are remembered and are family. The rooms are quaint and comfortable and quiet. Sitting every evening in the courtyard with a breeze makes you want to never leave. The restaurant has a nice and tastey variety...

Room 10, 2 single beds for 40 kg kids, cannot move in the room, bed like a hammock, upgrade to 11 helped. Food, Toaster, half works, guests use their hands to scoop dry breakfast cereal as no utensils available, you start your dining by asking "what is available on the menu"! half not there.

A very nice place with friendly staff and, in my case, a fantastic self-catering room. I stayed there for 6 months and found the place to be a second home with a very familiar feel. The staff have become like a second family to me and have treated me with love and attention. I miss them all very much. The...

We have lived and traveled in Africa 22 years, and have come to appreciate that there are qualities more desirable in a lodge than elegance. Annie's may not be luxurious, but they accomplish the more important task of making their guests feel welcome, safe and at home! The staff are fantastic and we especially appreciated that the staff were empowered...

The staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean. They have mosquito nets, television, and air conditioning (when there is electricity). I loved having the restaurant there too. The food was fresh and delicious. I had breakfast and dinner there most nights.
