Beautiful location, well presented, clean rooms, very friendly staff an ideal place to relax. Air con and fridge in the room. Swimming pool or Lake for swimming. Fabulous breakfast! No electricity, no problem there's a generator

Paid for a single day visit with a group of friends. They put pressure on us to order from the buffet but the food was often left uncovered by guests and the waiters just waved multiple flies away as they walked past instead of recovering it. So we ordered from the menu and the food took at least an hour...

Had a great time at this location on the mountain. It was cool in the evening so they came and build a fire in our room every night. Also, the food at the restaurant was good. The staff was friendly and very helpful. There was also a nice place to buy souvenirs right outside the gate

I was going to give a 5 star review, after all we have been here for 3 days at the Steps campsite, part of the hotel. The reason I am changing it to 1 star is because of the hotels total disregard for campers. On our last night, after the campers were already sleeping, the security guards let in 2...

Henry, our driver, told us that you haven't really been to Malawi until you've been to the lake and he was right! This Sunbird is right on its shores and is a tropical oasis in an otherwise brown countryside (at this time of the year before the rains start). The buildings are bright white and meals are set up outside...

This was a nice hotel if you prefer western style accomodation. Rooms were comfortable, restaurant was great, scenery was excellent but it didn't feel authentically African. We only stayed one night, but while it was the most luxurious of the four hotels we used it was the least exciting or authentic.

A great place to spend your weekend just an hour and half from the capital city Lilongwe. The food is good and the service cannot be faulted. The beach and views are stunning. This is the place for a weekend of R&R

Beautiful Lake and beach - really enjoyed the warm days but cooler evenings at this time of year. Lovely terrace area for lunch & dining but was a tad too blowy most nights so we had to move inside. Order early as the food can take a while but enjoyable and good size serves. Perfect time of year to visit...

Family room was well equipped to our comfort during the stay, kids loved it. Every year was different but in a good way. Loved breakfast champagne. The beach is so near that you actually hear the water waves in the morning. Not dangerous to swim, has beautiful swimming pool with pool tender. Free non engine boat ride, island boat ride...
