The peacefullness of the hotel area since after mco and were well maintain. It would be great to come with a pack of friends and family. Room have a weird smell during checkin possible because of the sanitisation. I enjoy the bbq buffet for dinner, the black pepper sauce is good. However the main dish for dinner and breakfast is almost alike but i love it its good. Mushroom soup was a killer. Fish bbq killer. They have a sports bar with live band. Its worth the price i must say.
The rooms and bathrooms are large and of great size. The beach view is truly five stars but all else was 3 stars. Not bad but not fantastic either. Coming out of a pandemic is never easy for any hospitality chain and the hotel just did not put in much effort to gain any brownie points either. The general facade could be so much better with a fresh coat of paint and the lack of good landscaping, proper maintenance and upkeep around the sprawling grounds just added to the resort’s tired look. The hotel was sold as a four star resort. It was dissapointing when we had to request for standard hotel supplies. Service staff at the resort gave upon request offering a polite ‘not included in the package’ when requested for bedroom slippers, hand towels, bathrobes, laundry bag and coffee. Such items should be complimentary and already in the room before check in. On the positive side while we loved the large rooms and bathrooms again no effort for minor upgrades were visible. Some lifting hardwood floor panels could have be easily fixed, a reupholstered sofa and new curtains would make such a big difference. If your selecting a twin bed room, do note the size of the two singles are micro singles at best. Frayed pillow covers should be removed and rooms with patio’s not facing the beach have very neglected patio’s. It’s worthwhile to pay more for a direct beach facing room with big patio. Room 602 had a huge beach facing patio. There is a large pool for adults only and another of similiar size for families. Free car park is on the premises and a buggy ride away. Breakfast was a variety of western and asian food. Overall a satisfactory stay that could be improved.…
It was the most amazing experience! And the stuff was super friendly and helpful especially Afiq, he was so nice even the next day my friend come the check in all went so smooth! One of the best location from Langkawi with nice beach in front. Very nice swimming pools, with good service. Very good restaurants with many choices. The rooms and the entire hotel looks very old and very used. They have 5 stars for how it looks in the past, not for now.
As a Langkawi resident, I took the opportunity of visiting this resort with the special offer. Can't go wrong with this location - one of the best beaches. Much has been said about the aging property with lack of maintenance... so it's advisable to do a little research in order to know some background. Anyway the room i got was clean & comfy - AC, linen, shower, bed, all good. They didn't provide complimentary bottled water, not sure if this is a standard practice or only during CMCO. Not a problem for me. This is a very quiet period with low occupancy, so most of the time I had the pool, restaurant and beach all to myself; such a privilege... haha. Special thanks to Syahmi & Fazila from Front Desk and also Irfan & Faris from the restaurant. I had a wonderful stay.
