When we arrived we thought; "wow, this looks great". The building that holds the reception is indeed great. This is where are WOW'S ended and ours args began. Upon arrival in our bungalow (we did have the cheap option) we found sigarette butts in the wash basin together with a used q-tip. No fresh towels, but a nice heap of...

These little wooden houses make you feel like you've dived deep into the jungle for a few nights! The rooms are amazingly spacious, air conditioning is cold and the surroundings give a real back to nature feel. Beds comfy, bathrooms well equipped... and the pool is just fabulous! Watch out for mozzies if you visit the restuarant after dark.

Large resort type hotel, year's gone by it must have been great, though not a dump now, it's showing it's age. Many buildings dotted around the site seem empty and now unused on this large site. All the reception staff I met here where fantastic, my hat goes off to them, such nice people. The pool area is large and...

Room/ Hotel : Really big spacious hotel room at a very affordable price of seventy two ringgit but this might have been influenced by it being a low season. Booked the room on expedia. At first sight, the hotel had a quaint malay village feel to it. Decor aptly follows the theme throughout the resort. After checking in, I was...

Tok Senik was a gamble we took due to it's uniqueness and a jungle-like experience at an otherwise beach destination. The historic Malay rooms are a retreat to stay. We got an awesome deal from Agoda and booked the rooms at 60% less than the orginal tariff. It's highly recommended to have your own car if you select this place....

Out of the normal tourist traps. Jungle setting with few guests. Huge rooms with mini fridge and kettle for hot drinks. Our attached deck was great place to watch monkeys gathering fruit from the trees. The shallow pool, with slides for the kids, is attached to a very large pool for the adults. Great for swimming laps, as there are...

Where do I start? Let me first say that we had come to Tok Senik several times years ago and enjoyed it. But now it has gone so far down it is almost unimaginable. The basic problem is general filth and a lack of concern for maintenance and upkeep from management. The place is infested with ants; ants all over...

It s just like a small Malay village. The room is a small wooden house with basic amenities ( air conditioner, hot water, kettle for coffee/ tea ) You can enjoy beautiful view paddy field - just open your window. I like that you can park your car just in front of your door. Simple buffet breakfast but it just...

We stayed there for 3 days 2 nights and we bought the voucher from Groupon so basically consider a good deal. The resort was extremely big and you need a car to travel to your room. The house contains 2 rooms and I got a from which faced the paddy field. Slightly smelly for my sister's room when she opened...
