Wau Hotel is an excellent place to spend a night in Jerantut and the region. Very clean, very helpful and attentive staff and management. The manager gave us copies of maps of the town and sat down with us and gave us detailed tips on how to maneuver in Jerantut and for our next destination (and the return) from Taman... More

Wau hotel is an ideal place to stay in before tackling Taman Negara. Although it's on the main road it's extremely quiet. Every member of staff was friendly and helpful especially Maniam. We didn't have to visit NKS office to check their activities and tours, Maniam gave us all the information. He also booked the transport to the National Park... More

The only reason we booked a 1 night stay at the Wau Hotel was because we had travelled from the Perhentian Islands and had planned on getting the 9am boat to Kuala Tahan (but it stopped running in January the boat only goes at 2pm,so we ended up getting a minivan in the morning to take us and got the... We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and used it as a base to explore Taman Negara. Rooms are quite simple but clean. The best part of the hotel is Mr Manion (sorry if we spelt your name wrong). We had been travelling for 6 months around Asia and this was the most helpful man we met! He helped... More

Good value hotel... The indian receptionist always welcome us with good smile. (+point). The room was spacious, clean & tidy. Great job on housekeeping!! The room need to do maintenance on wall paint. Towel, shower gel, hair shampoo provided. They did the air-cond service since we comment during our previous stayed. Free parking around the hotel, a mamak stall beside... More

We stayed at Wau Hotel 2 nights and went to the jungle on the day in between Mr Manian, the hotelmanager is worth his weight in gold. He helps you with everything you need and everywhere you want to go. He even picks you up at the train or busstation in the middle of the night, if necessary😄. His staff... More

Wau hotel, Jerantut This small hotel can be used as an economical base for a day trip to the Taman Negara national park, or we used it as a convenient stopping place so as to save one night at the very expensive Mutiara Resort and to be able to go to the resort early the next morning, rather than arriving... fairly basic rooms but with everything you need, comfy beds and the hotel itself is spotless. Mr Amian is a very friendly host and even gave us some of his wife's cooking, the hotel is helpful with arranging transportation to Taman Negara but just be careful with 'Danz travel' as we were told a bus would take us back to... The Wau is a fairly basic hotel, I'd say 2-star, but modern, with everything you need and spotlessly clean. The real highlight is the manager, Manian, who will treat you like one of his own children! He told us everything we needed to know before our visit to Taman Negara and even took us to the boat jetty for a... More

Girlfriend and I stayed for two nights because of the close proximity to the national park. After check-in we went in the city of Jerantut but i wouldn't recommend that. It isn't a touristy place, and english isn't really spoken. For food there is a Indian place right by the hotel in a tent, and the food is veryyy delicious.... More
