It's located just right behind Thean Chun Restaurant! We went a big round circling the shop lots to get there, and actually there's a pathway beside LOL A unique place for visiting, where you can find handmade goodies such as key chains, bags, clothings, accessories.. If you like vintage thingy or/and the beauty of trees, this is the right place...

What a gem of hotel! Never had expected that an old colonial shop house can be transformed to this amazing modern yet maintaining its old world charm. Location is fantastic as it just within the quarters of Ipoh's two most famous kopitiams. A fairly new tourist destination is Concubine Lane which is just a stone's throw away. Perfect for families...

This place has very unique decoration. But..... It so hard to find. Have to walk around the place because don't know where is the entrance. The price we had is about RM200+ per night. So, it's not a budget place to stay. The good thing is this place is quite close with other attraction place. Overall I still satisfy with...

Booked a girls' trip here and took one of their rooms for 6 people. We had a good time but let me tell you it is really not for everyone - it is very rustic for lack of a better word. One of my friend's described it as looking like her "grandfather's attic". The bathroom doors are glass with curtains...

There comes a point in a man's life when he has to admit to himself that he's not cool or hipster. And I reached it at Sekeping Kong Heng. It was stressful finding the reception, if you can call the hole in the wall that. Literally walked in circles before a helpful woman at the convenience store led us to...

The 8 of us stayed here for 1 night, we booked the Old Block room and Kong Heng Annex room. Overall, we had a good hipster experience staying here for a short trip. Pros: 1. The Sekeping area is very convenient as there are many shops all around the hotel within walking distance, from Plan B to Burps and Giggles...

My second time staying here, the cafe downstairs started operation this time I stayed. If you want a proper nights sleep, look somewhere else. The cafe literally blasted their music until 12 midnight. Non of us could get any sleep. Also, if you're not staying at the highest floor, be prepared for people staying above walking around in high heels....

Awesome hotel! Old building has nicely converted into an accommodation. Mixture of old and new, with nostalgical atmosphere. We stayed at a superior room as we need a two bedded room. Our room was spacious enough for a night stay, clean and well functioning. No breakfast is included but there are so many eateries surrounding. Our room was upstair of...

  • Attic walls with original paint from pre-war days. Crisp fine linen upon wooden pallets. I like.

“All the rooms look very similar so I don't think it matters. There are family rooms which are very open so don't forget the mosquito repellant. There isn't much noise so go for what you think suits your needs.”
