The prices that Rahman-Squash mentions are correct. We tried to book in advance by making a phone call. Despite no one ever answered the phone. So we tried our luck so we tried to get a room on arrival. We took a taxi from the jetty to the guest house. And it was our lucky day, there were still some rooms available. There's nothing to worry about actually, because in that same street there are plenty of guesthouses/hostels with the same price range.
Good luck and enjoy Pulau Pangkor. You will not regret it, that place is amazing.
