Spent three (3) nights Sept 2015 at this hotel. Have also stayed there previously over the years (including early this year) as it is in the heart of George Town with good public transport. One can get to most parts of the Island by the Rapid buses and there is a bus stop located about 30 yards from the hotel....

Great location. Warm welcome by receptionist. Huge lobby. Looks old but good maintenance. Rooms very spacey but the bathroom size are small. No free wifi in room but available in lobby. Very limited choice of breakfast.

Old Hotel. No free wifi, RM15/day 24 hours Free parking. Cleanliness normal. Aged furniture in the room. Dirty bathtub. Free breakfast. I would rather spend more for a better hotel. RM120 promotion rate. It is what you get for what you paid.

An aquantance recommended this Hote while staying at my favourite place in Bangkok, Honey Hotel. Firstly I must commend the staff. They are beautiful people and do their jobs exceptionally well. The desk staff are superb. I left my diary in the lobby, my hat by the pool. Both were recovered for me with a smile so genuine by the...

Great location for sightseeing and short stay only. There are plenty of places to eat nearby including nasi kandar restaurant, and Hameed Sup Kambing. The hotel is average in terms of rooms decoration. The breakfast menus, well, are average too.

The staff was average and could tell that they did not have enough experience working in professional hotel industry. The hotel looked old and moldy. It really needs some painting. The pool was small but nice. The pool showers (with stairs down) not comfortable, the showers were too close to the wall and the wall looked moldy. Breakfast was average,...

The hotel was awful not like the pix. The only good thing about it is its location. The smill of the hall way and the room was so bad. Its breakfast was kind of fare not that bad. I recommend to have the same area but a different hotel.

An average hotel. It could use updating. Great location for sightseeing. There are plenty of places to eat nearby including a fairly large hawker center named Red Garden. There is a shopping mall a short 5 minute walk away. If you rent a motorbike for around 30 ringett a day, you can get around easy enough armed with Google maps...

Good location, good customer service and special thanks to Ms Cling for allowing us to choose the room. The only minus point is we need to pay for the internet usage as most of the hotels now offer free internet. Pls look into it to make your hotel more competitive. Stay on 04-05/04/15.

Very basic hotel, last resort in Penang having tried other hotels in same range. Toilets have been renovated recently. Breakfast was also average. Front desk staff untrained to answer basic questions ie good place for local food. Taxi and beca stand outside which is an advantage.
