Arrived at the hotel after booking with Booking.com and there wasn't a room booked for us. We did eventually they put us in a family room which we didn't have to pay for the upgrade which we thought was nice until we got in the room. The bed covers had cigarette burns. The walls we dirty, no wifi as promised,...

Basic rooms with old CRT televion with old fashion airconditioning system which was difficult to control.. Breakfast was very basic coffee, tea juice, bread , butter, jam and fried rice and fried noodles. If you stay too long, I am sure you would skip braekfast. The reception staff do not know how to make a guest welcome.

During the night I was staying in the reception and a orange Indian staff man half drunk ask me many times in a "friendly" way(not for me) if I wanted to go out and drink. Crazy. In the room the WiFi signal was insufficient and also in the reception the connection ( after insert a long password) was very very...

A cheap hotel will little amenities. It is conveniently located and within walking distance to Penang Road where a variety of street food is available. It has a massage centre/spa located downstairs. Breakfast is simple and plain.

Hotel rooms could be competitive around town.mind your steps...roadworks ahead near and around the hotel...but what irks me is the hotel receptionist check facts first whether guests checks out waiting for their taxi to the airport..you are not helpful! For those with tired feet and body...massage parlours all around to sooth your needs.

Went here with a group of friends. The price is reasonably cheap, as compared to other hotels in Penang, but customer service was bad. Called a week before arrival to enquire on car rental, but they were clueless & sounded reluctant to discuss it over the phone. We rented from another company, & the hotel staffs were unhappy to let...

The Hotel's location suited me fine, down a quite road with only a 5 minute walk to a lively street and easy to find when I first arrived. The rooms are large, nice distant sea view to the rear, but well worn and not cleaned very well, the bathroom was very poor, though thankfully no insects, just long hair's and...

Nice pictures than reality. Old design. Make sure you must avoid room number 207 (large bed). Because our first check in the reservation gave that room. We ask for changes. No halal certificate for breakfast. World war 2 air conditioning control. Muddy outside. But.. value for money you spend. Near to mamak breakfasts (roti bakar dapur arang.)
