Friendly staff, very clean and great location (not far from the cinema). The bathroom is small compare to the room but it's enough. We stayed 3 days instead of 1. If you want something, do not hesitate to ask to the staff who always find a solution! Very good value for money.

Stayed here for 3 nights after avoiding it since Tune opened. Prices are rising in Georgetown and value is not. My stay was a welcome respite from Sydney's cool winter and Star delivered clean, safe accommodation. Staff are very helpful too!

After struggling to find anywhere in Georgetown with a private bathroom within our price range, we stumbled upon Star Lodge. We got a private double with ensuite & A/C for only RM50. The room was a bit dated & the mattress/pillows probably could have done with replacing but it was cheap & cheerful. The guys who run reception are really...

we stayed in room F12. Room was bright, it's got a balcony, quiet fan and AC. Bathroom was a little small but good enough. Being far from the road, there wasn't any noise and full privacy. The is very conveniently located near all the points of interest in Georgetown.

A great location, tucked just off of Love lane in Muntri street. It's basic, but very clean, with ac, wifi & hot water; it's really good value. Drinks & beer here are cheaper than 7eleven. What really stood out for me were the lovely staff, I felt so welcomed and they gave us loads of information and maps to help...

We stayed here in the month of July, first week. I was with my parents, wife and kids; so 2 rooms, and were looking for 2 nights stay, with most time dedicated for tours. Very basic amenities and facilities for 50 odd ringgits. Bathroom was small, tidy and with geyser as well. No frills, just basic shelter. The owner also...

Quite clean, not comfy but so far so good... i stay in the ground floor one double bed and a single bed for 80RM, private toilet and bedroom with towel but without toilet paper... To me 80RM for three person with a clean room this is really valuable..

We stayed here on our way to Medan Sumatra, and got all the info we want about busses and taxi's to airport etc.Nothing special bare rooms, with clean showers. Good setting near all the highlights in the city. For a family, the rooms are somewhat "minimal"...but you travel in a budget, so what do you want. We did not find...

If you need internet don't stay here. The free WiFi is very unreliable often with weak signal and often not working at all. The place sometimes seems like a dosshouse too. I couldn't sit in the upstairs lounge one evening because there is an old Chinese guy asleep on a camp bed. He sometimes sleeps in the lobby area and...

If you want to stay where you are kept up half the night either by the lady down the alley, t.v. or just people talking then stay here. There is a man sleeps by the stairs with shorts on, legs wide open. One of the day staff was asleep, cause he had been drinking earlier during the day. Also we...
