We opted for a room to ourselves, for a very affordable price. The staff are very helpful, the place is clean and lovely and you are in the heart of Georgetown. The air conditioning is very good and is very welcomed after a full days walking in the Malaysian heat. I loved Pinang and this hotel helped with my experience.

My second time here! Everything was great, the room, the breakfast and friendly staffs. Love the little reading area where you can just chill and rest. Smacked right in the middle of everything, walking distance to all the cool places and good food. Overall, thumbs up!

The owners were really great and made sure we enjoyed our time in Georgetown. The staff was super friendly and great at giving directions to cool places around town. The breakfast was yummy and the rooms are exactly what you'd expect from a hostel but very clean. The walls are thin so you hear everything but as long as you're...

Ryokan was the best. The location was so convenient for me to walk anywhere and the breakfast was good. Room was clean and the air-conditioner was able to be controlled separately in each dorm by the guests. Especially the staffs were so kind, always smiling and helping me out. Multiple factors must be satisfied to make one's trip fascinating, including...

We stayed here as a group of three and our stay was comfortable. The shared bathroom was kept really clean (a definite bonus!!) and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast and wifi was included. You are required to pay a government charge of 2 ringgit per person (not refundable) and leave a 100 ringgit deposit for the room key (refundable...

I have had a very good experience while i was staying here. Toilet, room are cleaned. Quiet place to stay. In the middle of Georgetown, just a minute walk to the bus stop. It is very cheap to stay here.

This is the cleanest hostel I've ever stayed at! I don't expect much from hostels but Ryokan surprised me by being SO CLEAN! The timber floor in the room was dust free and dirt free and incredibly well maintained. Clean towels daily was a nice bonus too. Kudos to the staff for a job fantastically done. Yes the floors are...
