This hotel is not worth the money. While the location is good and the staff are friendly enough, that is about all it has going for it. We paid $26AUD a night for a double room with air conditioning and shared bathroom. In Asia, you expect money like that to provide you with a certain level of luxury. This place...

Stayed here for 4 nights, it's cost effective for a solo traveller staying on the first floor, didn't have to lug my luggage up the stairs, except it is near the staff counter, so it's noisy when there are kids running around before they check in. Location is wonderful along chulia street, and they offer free bicycle rental with $50...

The location of the hotel is very convenient, with many nice restaurants near by. The small coffee shop near the restaurant is quite good as well. The room is quite small, and the water was leaking at the bathroom. Nevertheless, it is still worth staying there for a short trip considering the price and location.

The location of this place is great, it's on one of the main streets in Georgetown, close to street food, great restaurants and it's easy to find your way around. The hotel room was fine, very white. But it had the amenities we needed for a few nights. Unfortunately, the sound insulation is very poor. We had a room very...

After read tripadvisor review on this hotel, I decided to stay here. When we arrived at Penang Sg Nibong bus station, my friend picked us up and sent us to hotel. Hotel is located hiding behind the shops and not visible at the road side therefore not easy to find. Lucky my friend using Waze to guide us there. First...

The 'heritage' part of the name of the hotel is a misnomer as there is nothing heritage about this hotel apart from being in the designated heritage zone...the inside of the hotel and the rooms are modern. The hotel is located centrally which is a plus. However the room that I was in had a dampness to it and you...

We stayed in this hotel in Dec 2013, just before Christmas. I like the white and gold colour scheme in this hotel as it exudes grandeur. Though the access to the hotel is via a narrow driveway which makes this little gem less noticeable along Chulia Street, for us, this gives the hotel extra privacy and the set-back gives rise...

This hotel was the letdown of my trip around Malaysia. To their credit the staff was very friendly and was accommodating as far as what they had to work with. The first issue was looking for a plug adapter. I had a typical American style 3-prong laptop and the man at the front desk sifted through many he had behind...

This hotel is the best choice if you wish to explore Georgetown heritage sites. Also a few walk away to the left for hawker food stalls in the evening and the famous Nasi Kandar is only a few block away. We booked one Standard Double Room for two nights. Our room has attached bathroom in it. Both of the room...
