Very friendly and helpful staff throughout our stay. Location is central (walking distance) to the CBD, local markets, waterfront and its eating venues and bars. Hotel doesn't have a pool but this means you get rooms at a better price. The breakfast/dinner venue is top floor with amazing views of the entire harbour.Good range of asian and western foods at...

The Klagan Hotel is a standard hotel located in the heart of the city of Kota Kinabalu. Going to tourist hotspots like the Filipino market, Oceanus Mall, Centre Point are all withing walking distance. The rooms are big, spacious and clean, but do not expect luxury. It is equipped with just the bare necessities such as towels, shampoo & body...

This hotel is centrally located and within close walking distance to the fish market and waterfront. It's also easy to hail a cab -- the nice concierge helped us to wheel our luggage to the pick up point just 20 steps away. The other nice thing about this hotel is the large bathroom with the powerful separate rainshower, though the...

The Klangan Hotel is at a fantastic location close to the waterfront, eateries, convenience stores and craft market. There is a taxi kiosk right outside the hotel, so getting anywhere is not a problem at all (RM30 to the airport as at 2 May 2016). The staff are also warm and helpful. Checking in and out was a cinch and...

Whilst in KK we needed a base for several separate nights whilst travelling in and out of the city on various tours. The hotel was clean and well presented and was exactly what we required. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to store luggage when required in between stays and conduct laundry turnarounds in 3 hours...

Took up the hotel upon reading review from here... the room is spacious and nice and alot of appliances as well as bath rob and etc... but you do not have own parking? Secondly situated far from city centre which on friday can cause a 40 min drive for just 5km? Not going there and bad experience... breakfast meal caused...

Stayed there for 3 nights, not too bad in terms of the size of the room. Shower and toilet accessories are ok. But air con is not that cold for scorching hot weather right now. Breakfast is ok. Nearby to shopping centres and Gaya Street where u can experience lots of night activities eg shopping and seafood restaurants.

Can only describe this hotel as average and dreary. Nothing really stands out especially. I spent 5 nights here in March 2016. The room was surely spacious, but the decor was quite bland. For the first night I was put on a smoking floor, but thankfully I could change to a non-smoking room for the rest of the stay. This...

The room is spacious and clean. The brekafast is just good and sufficient especially for business traveler. If you want better food eat outside. Would love to stay there again. The bad side of the place there is no private parking, and the available parking needs to pay almost RM10 for full day...make sure you only park there after 10pm...
