We stayed here for one night after a very long couple of days travelling to Borneo. The accommodation was basic but ample fir what we needed from the lodge. Good beds, showers and toilets and a good breakfast the next morning. Would stay there again.

A perfectly good transit option when using KL airport. Hotel is set up for one night stays so don't expect anything else. Breakfast options make up for in quantity what they lack in quality. 10 to 15 minutes by pre paid taxi. A quirky little hotel, ask for a room away from highway for a quieter night. Would use again

Clean hotel, cheap, good wifi and ok beds. It is in a decent area of KK and a close walk from the waterfront. Nothing special and wifi costs RM5. Good enough for a 1 night stay in Kota Kinabalu. Would probably recommend.

Step Inn is the best hostel I have ever stayed in, Sam and Arty are the most welcoming kindest people I have ever met. I stayed in total 9 nights there over three months and every night was amazing, the staff went out of there way to look after me, one morning I went white water rafting and they made...

Stayed here for a week and really enjoyed it. The place was peaceful and the family that run the place are really friendly and helpful. It's also just a stone's throw from the night market with its amazing food and hawker stalls and is easy to get to anywhere in KK from. Air con rooms were 90Rm at time of...

Stayed here after a 5 day trek in Maliau Basin. It has warm showers, air con and a nice breakfast- highly recommend. The only down side was a few "gap year" students making a lot of noise, but that might have just been specific to my stay

My partner and I stayed here when we first arrived in Borneo We had a Double w/aircon 90RM But the dorm is an affordable 29RMish and a fan twin 70RM It was comfortable, covenant and relaxing. Obviously it is no 5star hotel but a perfectly adequate hostel with small kitchen to make coffee/tea also access to microwave and toaster. Wifi...

PRO's: 1. Reception and staff (Open almost 24/7, staff were all courteous, friendly, and helpful.) 2. Location (I marked the location as a pro since it is near the night market and seafood restaurants, but for those who don't like the noise, the crowd, and the nightlife -stay away from this hostel then.) 3. Price (Affordable and good value for...

My first hostel stay. As there are 4 people in my group, we booked the whole air-condition room for ourselves. Air-conditioning is good, toilet facilities is good too. Water pressure is a bit weak though. Soundproofing is a bit inadequate too. Be mindful not to disturb your neighbours! Location is good. I arrived on a Saturday evening and the place...

we stayed here twice during our trip to Borneo. The rooms are clean, there are 4 showers per floor and all rooms have a fan and aircon. Aircon is an extra 10MR. This is great value for money and breakfast is included if you desire. Great central position
